Got a lab puppy on Monday. He and our 7 year old lab are starting to get along pretty well. The pup was playing the part of terrorist last night while the yellow was vacillating between patience, annoyance, and desperately wanting to mount him, lol. Amazing how dogs just know to be gentle with puppies even while they're death-grip hanging from their ears and jowls.

He's only had two pee accidents since we got him Monday and neither were his fault...so far so good. However, he's definitely a biter so that is the current project. His idea of play time is being cute, cuddly, and an absolutely vicious little bastard lol.

So my little dude under went several surgeries last week.
Soft palate resection
stenotic snare widening
neutered
repair hernia that actually one of his nuts was stuck in, so never decended
and an "eye tuck" that closed his eyelids a little more, because he had a bulging eyeball
He was super doped up for the first few days, but within 3 days he was back to being a little monster! I think since he can breathe better now, he has more energy/ability to play! BUT we are supposed to keep him super chill and with the e-collar for a total of 14 days. He's a fuggin puppy and has NO chill lol.

I just hope Blackjack isn't mad that I forgot his bday and didn't wish him one yesterday. I feel I should do something for him today, some chicken or something I don't know though.
