It's not the sleep that would get to me. I've done 4 days no sleep before. I've tried the uberman schedule ( 20 minute nap every 4 hours its bs but I did get 11 days through it).
It's the mental fortitude they expect from you in other ways that would suck balls. That being said, when I saw the SAS selection test show where they hold them in stress positions and shout abuse and chit at them and interrogate them I kinda laughed. That's no different to being raised in a Nigerian household when you do something and won't admit it as a kid lol.
let me be clear, I would break. I wouldn't care enough. I just wouldn't. It wouldn't be worth it.

David Goggins failed 2 times before he got in and he's beyond a mentalist. I watched a ton of videos about Seal's after hearing some of Goggins speeches and wondered if we'd ever had a Seal on the misc. Search says not.

can anyone find the thread asking why special forces dudes concentrate on speed and agility instead of big bench and curl numbers? that was a professional roll bread.

I don't have what it takes and wont even sit here and pretend like I do.

I might be mistaken but I thought it was extremely rare to even be considered for SEAL training prior to age ~22/23.
I personally could not ever do it, Don't have the genetic capacity physically or mentally lol.
A buddy of mine who is a genetic freak just failed out of ranger school, said his age did him in (he was 35) and couldn't keep up with the younger guys.
this guy was a practicing lawyer, who commissioned in the Army as an officer. before joining the army, while he was an attorney he was a Pro MMA fighter with a 8-2 record. dude is like 6'2'' 190 lbs lean, 600 lb deadlift, 105 perfect push ups, could run a mile in 5 minutes flat and 3 miles in 16.45 , biggest freak i've ever known in terms of physicality and intelligence

That being said... Part of the issue is that these people are not fresh when they start hell week. You take a fully fed, fully rested, non injured bad ass and have them JUST do hell week. Rates would go up.

They are finding out who can not be broken from a mental capacity under tough situations. A lot of other things can be taught. That cant

Not at all....I can only lift weights.
The more weight I have put on from lifting the more my agility and athletic ability has gone to complete chit. I have done nothing on a functional standpoint. I have only done things for an aesthetic standpoint.

What the **** did you just ****ing say about me, you little bitch? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I'm the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the **** out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my ****ing words. You think you can get away with saying that **** to me over the Internet? Think again, ****er. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You're ****ing dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that's just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little ****. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little "clever" comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your ****ing tongue. But you couldn't, you didn't, and now you're paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will **** fury all over you and you will drown in it. You're ****ing dead, kiddo.
