Sloot cop catfight with girl
This looks like it got out of hand fast...
Blonde cop should probably lose her job since that was clearly out of line. She was threatening her with jail and abusing her authority. The woman gave her name (she was being bitchy). Then, the woman reacted as you would expect when she was being dragged out of the car and now they are gonna try to slap her with a charge of assaulting a police officer...Also, the woman was sitting in the passenger seat of a car...even if she were intoxicated (which she probably wasn't), that doesn't justify the actions of the cop.
Sloot was dumb for pulling her hair though.
I'm still not sure what the grounds for pulling her out of the car and arresting her was. Cop wouldn't let her explain herself. This was clearly a case of the cop's ego being way out of control and abusing her authority over the girl.

In the video the blonde cop threatens her with Public Intoxication. She was of course in the passenger seat so I thought it was odd to charge one with Public intoxication as a passenger. But I did look online and in some states the state can legally charge you with PI because they consider a car a public area. That's a pretty ****ed up law.

Also, you still need probable cause. I still think the blonde cop was just way out of line in this entire situation. I hope she gets a stern talking to and I hope the girl doesn't get charged with anything. This was just a horribly unprofessional situation. The cop escalated the situation, when it is her responsibility to de-escalate. People can die in situations like this. What a horrible example of a police officer. She really needs to be retrained or look into a different line of work because she is going to get herself killed one day. Imagine if she mouthed off to a fuking gangster. And she can't even subdue a small female. She'd have no chance. Dude would bottom her out and her head would be found on the side of the road somewhere. She needs to look into a different job. She doesn't have the demeanor to be a police officer.

Was it justified? By Pennsylvania vs. Mimms (case law) SCOTUS approves that a police officer ordering a person out of a car during a traffic stop and conducting a pat-down to check for weapons does not violate constitution 4th amendment.
The individual (possibly intoxicated) in this video at the beginning was explained how (presumably another occupant of the vehicle) is being placed arrested and taken to jail. After ~2 minutes this individual is arguing with the officer and conducting herself (arguably) in a disorderly manner.
This individual proceeds to give an incomplete name, therefore giving the officer even more reasonable suspicion to further investigate. Then proceeds to resist being detained by law enforcement.
She probably caught multiple charges including disorderly conduct, resisting/assault on an officer, obstruction, etc.

Cops are supposed to be trained to deal with these kind of emotional responses.
Also, let this be a lesson to everyone. NEVER resist a cop. Don't fight back. Don't mouth off. Stay calm. Even if you didn't do anything. Just remain calm. Ask for a lawyer. Make sure you are as polite as possible and attempt to de escalate the situation because they can literally engineer a way to kill you and get away with it. They have absolute power in those situations, and there is little you can do to escape at that moment. It is best to try to have a friend record the encounter, and then to make your case later. This sloot could potentially get charged with a felony and have her life ruined all because she reacted like a normal human to this cop's bitchy attitude.

The situation starts to "escalate" when the she is ordered out of the vehicle after she gives the officer erroneous information regarding her legal name (which can be a misdemeanor or even a felony in some states). By Pennsylvania vs Mimms (case law) it made it a legal command that she had to step out of the vehicle - to which she resisted and therefore dug her own grave.
I guarantee you, the chances are high that if she had just stepped out of the car on her own she probably would've been on her merry way within 10 minutes once the last name **** was cleared up.

A cop who acts unprofessionally forfeits their authority immediately. I hope this won't hold up in court. No jury would side with the cop after seeing this video.
There's nothing wrong with being a little rude, but the way she emotionally reacted to it and threatened to arrest her is fuked up. Cops don't go around threatening to arrest people to subdue them. They either have cause to arrest or they do not. They are not supposed to be emotional or use it as a way to assert authority over people. If a cop threatens to arrest you and you have done nothing and they do not have probable cause at that moment, the cop is basically provoking you and is also technically assaulting you.

This country is getting worse...we keep moving closer to a police state. Keep seeing chit like this...basic decency and respect for rights of people being eroded away...govt getting huge and inefficient...people are not free to express themselves and discuss things anymore...and they want to take away guns. Let's be real...at no point was that sloot a threat to anyone. The cop could have acted nicer and the entire situation could have been resolved peacefully. Mind is still blown that they can arrest you for being intoxicated in the passenger seat of a car. This is getting out of control.

There's multiple cases where officers use the threat of an arrest as an attempt of deescalation - example: airports in the United States where on the customs booths 18 U.S.C. § 111 is quoted.
What you're not understanding is that the person in the video dug her own grave. Like I said, she was legally ordered out of the vehicle and had to comply (again, under case law Pennsylvania vs Mimms) and resisted doing so and in the processes acted disorderly, assaulted multiple officers and resisted arrest at that point.
She created her own probable cause and got herself arrested. She created her reason why she is being arrested. Had she of stepped out of the vehicle with no resistance she would've probably been on her way within 10 minutes.

This is garbage. We lock kids up and waste taxpayer money on chit like this when murderers, rapists, and drug dealers are out there doing horrible chit. WTF is wrong with this world? By Sunday afternoon, Luna was out of jail and had gathered the videos of her arrest. She posted them on her ******** page. Not long afterward, Collin Jackson, a former athlete at Eureka High and son of Sgt. Janelle Jackson contacted Samantha Luna.
“I didn’t know that was Collin and Greg’s mom,” Luna said. She explained because they had been classmates, she had Collin’s number. When he called, she said she was just surprised to hear from him. It wasn’t until in the middle of the call she realized that his mother was the one that had arrested her.
She said he told her to delete that video or she was going to regret it. After she hung up, he sent her a message. “you ****ed with the wrong famil[y],” it said.
Later, he messaged her again, she read it to us over the phone, “I’m sorry it just made me mad at the moment because that was my mom,” he wrote. “I’m sorry I’m not trying to threaten you. For real I’m sorry that happened.”
Yeah...the cop's son THREATENED HER if the video ever got out. LMFAO.“I didn’t know that was Collin and Greg’s mom,” Luna said. Though in Video 3 during the arrest struggle, Luna claimed racism, she explained Collin Jackson is of African American descent and some people have told her that therefore his mother couldn’t be racist. She isn’t sure about that, she said. Couldn’t Sgt. Jackson be racist against Hispanics? she asked.
She said she doesn’t know why Jackson focused on her. The male driver, she stated, was white. “They never asked him for his ID or his age,” Luna noted. “They let him off with a seatbelt ticket.”
Luna is facing far worse consequences because of her struggle. “I have four charges,” she explained. “One is resisting arrest.” She says she also faces charges for public intoxication, giving false information, and battery.
I don't think this is a race thing. I think this is a PMS bitch on a power trip thing, and stuff got out of control. This is never going to make it to court. What a fuking joke. I get where the chick is coming from, but at a certain point you must know where the situation is going(Police and car stops never end with the cop saying you're right and walking away) The police has all the power in this immediate situation even if they are wrong or overstepped their authority, it's not going to be the place to correct them.
Chick put up a good fight tho, but she's slammed with resisting, which is a real charge they can make stick.

I wonder what happened before the video started? There is not enough evidence in this video to properly assess what fully happened, but just enough "proof" to elicit an emotional reaction from people who already have a prejudice.

Girl was being an entitled little kunt.
Even if the cop is right or wrong, police should not have to put up with being physically assaulted and there should always be a massive deterrent. Think about how your cushy little world would be without police, and try spending a decade in their shoes. I would not do their job fuk that.
Disclaimer: I am not a fan of the police and I despise corruption.
If the girl did not resist arrest she may have been able to get the cop in trouble and would at least be a little right rather than totally wrong.

Fuking sick of seeing good people go to jail while monsters continue to fuk society up. It really hit home when a while back I was at an upscale bar, and some rich old white guy was talking about doing drugs loudly. He was drunk. Nobody did anything. Didn't matter. He just gets a pass because he's rich and old and white. Fuk that. If the law is to be enforced, it must be enforced fairly. How many people in this forum tried alcohol underage? Almost everyone, I bet. We can send men to war, but they can't get a fuking drink? What the fuk is this? Like what the actual fuk is this? What the FUK IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE? dkgjsdgdhshfkdgs Just waste more taxpayer dollars and ruin lives for WHAT exactly? What is accomplished in this chit?

power tripping cop vs smug sloot.
both at fault but if the sloot had have gotten out of the car and just accepted it without struggle then she would've had a better case and for assaulting and officer is not worth it. they should settle it with a ky jelly wrestle

She was underage drinking, a criminal act, and when asked her full name, she didn't give her full name, and resisted. When you are already engaging in a criminal act, it is a good idea to comply with law enforcement.

You're an attractive woman. Let's keep giving power to the state and see what happens. One day some jerkoff cop might order you out of the car for whatever reason he can find. Then he might "search" you. How would you feel about that? We have to check police authority. ALWAYS. ALWAYS.
And she gave her full name. She tried to explain. You know you're spinning this. The cop was totally out of line in her response and behavior. It was hilariously unprofessional. Also, lol @ her going home and crying to her son. Her son then went and THREATENED the girl after. LOL @ me having to be the one to defend this sloot here. This is a total joke.

On the other hand I could make the same reasonable argument that had she of complied with the law and not committed an offense in the first place she would've never been in this situation to begin with.

I wonder what happened before the video started? There is not enough evidence in this video to properly assess what fully happened, but just enough "proof" to elicit an emotional reaction from people who already have a prejudice.

It’s getting old where everytime a cop arrests someone and force is applied that “the cop was out of line.” If you want to play Matlock and get defiant when a cop is asking you simple questions and you get cuffed?....I don’t give a chit how you think you were wronged.
How about just answer the questions, comply with the cop and let your friend quietly record it? If the cop is wrong and you’re calm as hell then the video with show the cop hanging him/herself. Lol at anyone who watches this video and thinks the girl wasn’t asking for exactly what she got.

They keep getting rid of liberties every year. I'm literally just watching all sense of privacy and freedom slowly evaporate. It makes me sad.
Guys, if you ever encounter a hostile cop, PLEASE don't resist. Don't say anything incriminating. Ask for a lawyer. Be calm. Because if you rolled the dice incorrectly, you might encounter a bully who just wants to fuk your life up or possibly rape (if you're a woman) or kill you. Just try to have it on record. What's worse is there have been cases of cops attempting to destroy video and threatening people for recording them. It's just depressing. What happened to "land of the free"?

If there were cause to arrest, she should have told the person CALMLY that she was being arrested. She should have been informed of her rights calmly. The cop's behavior was all over the place and came across as completely unprofessional.Right?

The government is more than happy to send out 18 year old men to die for their country, but they can't drink a drop of alcohol. But they can chug vanilla extract which is legally required to have 35% alcohol because reasons. But they can't be seen in public behaving drunk. They also can't be sitting in the passenger seat of a car apparently. Meanwhile, a bunch of privileged white kids get to drink and do drugs and get warnings or slaps on the wrist, while some minorities end up going to jail. Many teenage boys react similarly as the girl did to being arrested their first time only the cops aren't so nice to them. They then get slapped with more serious charges. They end up going to a prison where they are indoctrinated into gangs. These kids end up with ruined lives and perpetuate a cycle of crime in our society where they proceed to damage more lives.Wincel going full autistic mode itt - think it’s time to log off and go do something and don’t come back for a long time if ever.
AND YOU FUKING IDIOTS WHO SUPPORT THIS...YOU LET THIS HAPPEN.
But hey, we have a prison economy and strong prison and law enforcement lobbies, so there you go. Pfft who cares about civil liberties? Who cares about justice? Who cares about privacy? Let's just keep expanding the NSA's power. Let's keep eroding the rights of people, and let's embrace the full power of this bloated monstrosity of a nanny state until we are all slaves to the government.
You people....I swear...
