How about just answer the questions, comply with the cop and let your friend quietly record it? If the cop is wrong and you’re calm as hell then the video with show the cop hanging him/herself. Lol at anyone who watches this video and thinks the girl wasn’t asking for exactly what she got.

Brb drunk 21 year millennials are going to reform the justice system. See how ridiculous that sounds?
Exactly. Quick story about me when I was placed in cuffs...

-Out at bar with friends and gf.
-Some guy thought my buddy was hitting on his drunk gf.
-He sucker punches him.
-Sh!t starts going crazy.
-Cops are already there.
-Drunk girl tells cop that I was harassing her.
-Cops immediately come to me and place me in cuffs.
-I am laughing the whole time cause I was not even near them when all this went down. I was in another part of the bar, but I could see where everything went down.
-My drunk gf and her drunk friend see me getting placed in cuffs and they start going crazy too. Saying "He didn't do anything. Bring your superior officer out here. You're getting fired, etc, etc."
-Again I am laughing to myself and keeping calm while all this craps gets resolved.
-I tell my my gf and her friend to just calm down and chill the f-out.
-Cops come back to me and start asking me questions.
-I tell them everything that went down.
-Drunk girl (not my gf) starts rambling again and points to another person saying that he harassed her.
-Cops realize the girl is being a drunk kunt and making sh!t up.
-They let me go, apologize and also thank me for cooperating.

Moral of the story. Just obey the cops even if they are wrong. Everything will get settled in the end. Don't escalate it.

It is best when encountering to police to just keep your emotions to yourself handle the situation professionally and move on about your business. However should we all be forced to bow down to their authority any time they feel the need to interrogate? If they don't like the tone you answer their question can they jerk you out of the car and arrest you?

Personally I don't have time for the BS if I encounter the police I give them the minimum information requested and try to make the encounter as brief as possible.

We'll pussyfoot around and protect mafia members and gang leaders, but oh no some 20 year old girl had a few shots and is sitting in the passenger seat of a car, BETTER FUKING THROW HER ASS IN JAIL. Fuk this chit man. SRSLY. This fuking nanny state is out of control, and the law can end up being enforced by idiots like that blonde bitch who will react emotionally. The blonde kunt shouldn't have a badge, those kids should have just been warned, and so many taxpayer dollars could have been saved by not wasting time on this stupid chit.

It wasn't a fake name. She has a double legal last name, and it confused the dumbass pig woman. Sloot tried to explain it to her, but was promply ordered out of the car and arrested before she could even explain anything.
I mean there's no context (what happened prior to the video, there was a cut in the middle), but this is my take:

The girl was being a b*tch when the officer (likely) explained multiple times where her friend was going, but you can't see before the video started. The video cut but she seemed to not be straight on giving wtf her name was, so the cop was bringing her to jail. That's 100% a legitimate arrest in my state. I'm still confused about her last name too. The girl said samantha luna and alonzo luna and also said Luna is her last name and started explaining her dad is not her real dad and she's mexican with two last names? Just say wtf is on your documentation that will show up when they call it in, it's not that hard. People who are beating around the bush on their name are usually trying to avoid something (existing warrant almost 100% of the time, anecdotally). If you can't give your ****ing name without going into a monologue explaining it, something is up.

I'm not sure what you are defending, but you also seem to think being a cop is customer service smiles and dick sucking. I don't have to be nice to you (in some cases it makes the job easier), but if you are being an ******* it's probably not going to go in your favor.

It's funny how I've never ended up in a situation like this, when all I've done is given straightforward answers to straightforward questions and not be a dick.

Asking someone to give theiractualname is provoking? I said it in the last thread where some dumb drunk sloot thought she was above the law and got arrested on the beach. Why do people think they can just ignore police officers and do whatever the fuk they want until an officer "moves along with whatever they are doing?" That's not how things work. What do you think would happen if officers just let everyone go who didn't want to cooperate? Absolute sht show.

Once an officer stops you/approaches you, you comply until they let you go, or you act like a kunt and go to jail. You don't get to act like a kunt, do whatever you want, and go about your day.

Pretty much. These people are all blind authoritarians who don't believe in freedom. Just pray you don't encounter a cop like this one day.

Suddenly the cop pounces at her without a warning and grabs her. The girl flips out and tries to fight back like most people do, when bullied by someone twice their size.
The internet is full of videos with crazies flipping out at the cops, but this is not one of them.

Now the fact that public intoxication and a 21-year-old drinking age are retarded laws is not the cops faults though. The girl does not seem drunken from the video.

It seems like she gave her right name, but the cop didn't believe her, thinking Luna is a first name.
I agree.. Seemed like the cop was holding a grudge. As opposed to reacting to the situation

AT THE VERY LEAST, it seemed like she prob could have handled it in a manner in which 6 cops didnt have to jump in or waste time

I think the point is if you always comply to a cop. Even when they have no reason to do so

They can easily ask you to do something stupid.

You acting like theres prob not mafias or something that pay off cops so they turn a blind eye or do something stupid? Does that exist? Ill agree with you theres a minute chance that happens but im asking if the cop is legit asking you to do something stupid. Nowadays, it prob happens much less due to cameras, body cams, etc.

What about cops filling quotas and trying to get you in on something so make it up?

It is ironic to me.. Again, you guys seem to thirst power. But youre actually more cucky giving your rights away to [potentially] overzealous authority

You realize we need this because judges will believe a cop's word 99% of the time, right? They can straight up make **** up and send you to prison. It's happened many thousands of times and is a big reason why body cams are becoming more of a thing.
