When's the last time a country music artist was gunned down, went to prison, or shot at? It just doesn't happen.

Not sure if I should be impressed that this kid was able to get such a devout following of nut huggers, or disappointed in the nut-huggers for the nuts they chose.
Never understood the shock factor artists go after with their names and appearance, I know plenty of 80s, 90s, etc musicians would wear ridiculous stage outfits and strut about like peacocks, but I always figured good music stands on it's own without any of that. People sure go a long way to give the appearance that they are unique.
