I srsly hate how these days everybody is a "star wars fan". Bunch of *******s and feminists pretending to like it, disregarding how bad the movie is. I went to the premier of every single star wars since ep. I, and I remember when I was leaving the theater and heard everybody (mostly young *******s and feminists) saying that TLJ was the best movie ever

I hate when people join the hype train and doesn't use critical thinking to make his own opinion and evaluate something for what it really is. This is why hollywood is making only sh*t movies and remakes, people will be happy with whatever they come up with

so I'm actually happy to see Solo flopping this hard

Makes SW about everything people hate about current society.

Blames everyone for ruining SW by not supporting the third wave feminist viewpoint the story is being re written around.

I see everyone hates on Last Jedi, but I never get an actual reason why other than SJW, Feminism and "it ruined Star Wars".

Like I liked it a lot (I had problems with it as well like the plotline on the one planet with Finn is meaningless, but it doesn't "ruin Star Wars"), but can anyone someone actually give me arguments on why it "ruined Star Wars". Like honestly people think it was worse than Episodes 1-3? GTFO, the prequels have NO REDEEMING QUALITIES at all, they are literal and I mean literal dog chit. They add nothing to the franchise, ruin the Force, make Anakin/Vader a complete loser, have god awful characters like Jar Jar, are terribly directed, terrible dialogue, the plotline of the trilogy essentially revolves around galactic trade (wow so exciting, not srs), the whole clone army reveal is stupid, the action sequences go on for fuking ever, they waste a cool looking villain (Maul) and make him go out like a complete bitch, episode 2's villains are laughably awful.

Solo was actually fairly decent even though I fuking loathe how he gets his name, honestly one of the worst things I have seen in a movie. Where the fuk is the SJW and feminism and chit in Solo? Like what are you people smoking.

I just don't understand why they need to try and convey some kind of cultural message in the new movies. I'm not going to the movies for a lesson on gender equality and the plight of the poor. All I want is cool chit. It's not even phucking hard. Give me bounty hunting, give me light sabres, give me sick force powers and occasional cameo's for fan service.

It's not even hard, I don't understand why they suck so badly at it. I can only assume they don't understand what 'cool' chit is in sci-fi terms.

Here is a reason. They fuking killed Luke Skywalker and he went out like a bitch. They made him into an attempted child murderer. It was a total 180 from the same Luke who refuse to kill his father and believed there was good in him. That alone should be enough. But let's keep going. Mary Poppins Space Leia? enough said there. Okay, how about the illogical plot points (bitch could have told the plan, jumping into wnemy ships, etc). How about the fact that admiral ackbar dies offscreen? How about the fact that no back story is given for Snoke and he is killed in a really dumb way. TFA at least setup an interesting story. I gave it a chance. TLJ took everything TFA looked like it was going to be and fuked it with a metal wrench until it bled to death.

The prequels had by far the best sabre combat of any star wars movie to date, they also had Ewan Mcgregor and chit tons of memes. The prequels have bad plots but atleast they have memorable set pieces and characters like Palpatine, Mace Windu, Jango, Qui-gon etc. More importantly they had the flavour of star wars, it FEELS like star wars when you watch it. You feel like you're in that universe watching things unfold, whereas in the new movies it feels like you're watching a fan-fiction based on star wars, its more like an interpretation than the authentic real deal.

As for the last jedi, it sucked for many reasons. It took a well-established character like Luke and completely betrayed his motives and personality, even Mark Hamill said he didn't recognize the new Luke. Kylo Ren and Rai remain completely boring and uninteresting, I have literally no desire to see either succeed. Killing off the big bad in Snoke was an enormous mistake, as it leaves a huge void for the final movie in terms of a main villain, Kylo simply doesn't have the gravitas to pull it off. They also completely neglected story lines that they had created in the force unleashed like Rai's parentage because they were to lazy to come up with a good explanation. Then there was the absolute chit tier plot involving the casino planet and the ridiculous mutiny on the rebellion ships. The asian chick remains the most forgettable worthless character imaginable and Finn is just pointless.

It was just a phucking terrible movie with virtually no redeaming qualities

last jedi was another chitty story. nothing on the knights of ren. they introduced stupid characters for the sake of women empowerment. killed off snoke but never even went into his power. so much failure.... the people that wrote the scripts and produced/directed the movies didnt consider their fan base at all. disney figured that they could just make a movie and fans will be happy. they failed to understand that star wars fans are very loyal and felt betrayed by the nonsense that was made.

i agree the prequels sucked (except for episode 3, i thought the last half hour saved it) but darth maul was an almost perfect villain. his lightsaber battles with qui gon and obi wan were awesome.

I love star wars, all of them including the prequels but my god did TLJ suck balls it's truly terrible I have no idea why they allowed that to even come out or be allowed to cast some of those actors and it was so CLEARLY liberal women power focused.

If someone can explain to me the leia mary poppins scene like WTF power was that and why did it happen it was just horrible and who cast the asian chick in such a huge supporting role. brb I won't tell you my plan until the end and I use light speed to crash ships......**** off TLJ it was total crap.

Snoke was stupid from the get go and I'm glad they killed him off. The "bitch" didn't need to tell him the plan, she's the fuking General/in Command, she doesn't need to explain herself to people underneath her.

Wot? Maul is a cool looking villain but he does fuk all, dude is one of the most underwritten characters in movie history for being the villain. Perfect? He has 0 motivation in the entire movie other than to fight. The "climax" of their fight in the hallway was fuking stupid as fuk and he dies like a complete goober.

I don't remember Luke and Darth Vader fighting in the prequels, because the one from Empire is the best one of the entire series. All the ones in the prequels are just overtly long CGI fests with no meaning to why they're fighting other than for George Lucas to have an action scene that adds nothing to the story. The only memorable set piece from the prequels is the Pod racing scene from Episode 1. Inb4 someone says the terrible climax fight between Obi-Wan and Anakin in Episode 3 was good, it's not, its wayyy too long and has a dumb ending, brb I have the high ground. Like wtf Lucas.

I thought Solo was possibly the best Star Wars since the originals. Aside from Lando and the weird robot situation I didn't notice much political influence unlike the other new movies. Maybe it's just me.

Even though Im a liberal democrat I can plainly see that the shoehorning of liberal politics into these new starwars movies absolutely ruined them. Also they just suck.

We MUST have a black guy somehow involved even though his existence is pointless and makes no sense.
An asian woman MUST be included for some reason.
All heroics MUST be by women, inexplicably. Rai is stronger than kylo who has been trained (under luke AND the darkside AND has skywalker blood while she is nobody)
So many women everywhere always as the hero in every movie without fail. There were like, 2 females in A new hope.

Luke would not die simply because he used the force too much or too hard, what?!! Massive feats of force use have happened in the past and luke is supposed to be the most powerful jedi.

edit: lets continue, wtf are the knights of ren? Havent seen much of them. Are there any actual sith around? U telling me 30 years after Return of the jedi, that luke hasnt trained a BUNCH more freakin jedi? THey are all there and get killed by kylo and the knights of ren? Well it would have been cool if the movie was about that and not this boring mess. Luke and his jedi get mogged by a few nobodys? WTF?

Star wars ended at Return of the jedi. I hope they make a sequel one day. lol

Like I'm a latin american, but when movies start celebrating about a latin american lead, director, or composer, I just facepalm.

Especially with something as adored as Star Wars, where it should be about the fantasy, the stories and characters and not fukin 2018 identity politics.
