There have been threads about this. Many miscrs think life ends at 30.

Stay motivated the best you can. It pays off in the long run.

I started weight training at 27 to keep from getting a 'beer' gut and for fun. I started competing at 58. my goal was to win the Masters Over 60 Bodybuilding. I accomplished that goal at 61.

My shoulders hold little fat. I have striations on them even when I'm 'fat'. My shoulders are the first body part to acquire The Shredz when I cut weight.

AgRyan - thought he was in the army (well, he looks like he is in the pic).

What about lady miscers?

Obviously Kimm is the real deal but I'd have to go with Melis (who has sadly gone awol).

I try, honestly i only go now to maintain my fitness level and SLOWLY build, also i know the carryover it will have when i start a family in the future. I cant wait to be older, married, and not worry about staying lean for girls. Im sure it will be fun again as soon as i can just eat everything and lift.

Some people can maintain single digit bodyfat pretty easily as well naturally, depends on individual metabolism and eating habits. I reach 7-8% fairly easily by eating one meal a day at about a 500 calorie surplus for 6 training days a week, and then fasting through my rest day. 3000 calorie surplus throughout training days, and 3500 calorie deficit (maintenance around 3.5k) in the fasted window, adjusting surplus on training days if maintaining. You need to experiment to find out what works for you. I don't think getting lean is that hard up until a certain point, maintaining it is a lot harder.

pictures capture a 2d version of yourself. Thats why a lot of people look bigger in vid or person. I can never track progress through pics because of this. Also no one takes pics un pumped to show off lol

MichaelDeoung is one of them. Dude looks like Mr Universe in his avi but just a natty lean physique in all of his other pics. Dude that just posted above looks at least 195-200 lbs at 6'2 i don't get it.

Lighting and angles. Not hard to look huge when theres no one else in the shot for scale and you're lean. There are dudes at my gym who I dwarf and who have completely average physiques, then you check the gyms insta page and the same dudes are posting filtered locker room selfies where they look amazing and nothing like real life.

Welcome to the game of fitness angles and lighting. I wouldn’t say I look like a Mr Universe but thanks for the backhanded compliment lmao

The key to achieving a similar look is to get close to a mirror of some sort and have as little points of reference as possible. Do a side twist and make sure you’re pumped. Flex hard and take as many pics until the right one comes out.

With my avi I had my little brother take the pic along with extremely good downlighting. Having those extra shadows allow your muscles to pop. For the most part I look like my above pics on a day to day basis.

In my avi I was much lower bf% though. Having a low bf% does make your muscle bellies pop... at the right time of the day. For the most part I was flat as a noodle back then and only got that pumped after eating all my meals for the day and after the gym

tbf I’m quite new here so just haven’t got around to doing it. But I see no reason to assume people with no avis don’t look just as good (if not better) than the people with display pics
