How can you actually trust any girl?
SRS...
Sort of hit me today that it's basically impossible to trust any girls. Imagine if they are really attractive. They literally have to dodge dink everyday. Even the 1/10 pig whales still have options. One fight, one swipe, and the relationship is over. It's that fuking easy. And considering the high costs of marriage, starting a family, etc...considering the number of people who end up getting cucked into raising kids that aren't even theirs, considering high rates of STD, prevalence of dating apps, and the removal of stigma associated with promiscuity, how can you ever really trust anyone?
Similar things go for friendships. You hear so many stories about people backstabbing each other over money, selling coworkers out to get promoted, taking credit for other peoples' work, etc. Can you really trust anyone? Now I see the appeal of gangs and chit. It's like...you're part of something bonded by blood, where you can actually trust the other guy to never sell you out no matter what you did. People need a sense of loyalty and trust in one another. It's just gone in today's society. Seems like the only thing you can ever really trust is your own mind, and even that will go if you remain isolated for too long.

I give everyone the same amount of trust. From the second I meet them. From then, once lost, there is no getting it back from me. Worked out well so far

I get burned all the time. I'm not talking from crappy women (but that happened a lot too) but also from co-workers, from managers, from all sorts of people. I've been taken advantage of more times than I can count. I've been conned out of thousands of dollars by "friends" and I've been fired from jobs by completely incompetent managers who fcking hate me because I'm confident and know what I'm doing. This is especially true in medical scenarios and tactical settings.
Why?
Because I'm trusting and a nice guy in real life. (not nice guy creeper like FA's tend to pretend they are). Moral of the story? Who cares. You're going to get burned in life. You're going to get taken advantage of. You're going to get screwed over. The other option is to become a recluse and never trust anyone. You have to take these risks in life to develop true friendships and relationships. I have friends who I am 100% confident would take a bullet for me and I would do the same for them. You don't get those friends by not trusting anyone. That's a life lesson you have to learn.
As far as women go, you're going to get burned in that as well. I can write a 10 page thesis on crappy, psychotic, sociopathic, narcissistic, drug abusing, piece of **** women. They're everywhere. But guess what, eventually you meet some that aren't. The girl I'm dating now is one of the good ones. We've had a couple arguments and at no point did she go and hop on someone's dick because of it. That's because she's mature and acts like an adult. (something you don't see much of it if you pay too much attention to threads in here)
You get to that point in relationships by also taking risks. You're going to get burned, that's 100% guarantee. You'll survive though and you'll be better off in the long run.
My 2 cents.

At 2 am when you're getting done with a drug addict medical call and you get dispatch toning you out for another call across town and you hear "X unit will take it for Y unit" and you're Y unit. That guy just gave up his sleep to cover for you so you can get some rest. That's friendship.
When bullets are coming in over your head and you can't even get your machine gun out to return fire because it's raining hell down on you and your buddy hops in the 50 cal turret and opens up without hesitation because he's a fcking beast. That's friendship.
When your car breaks down and you're fcked because you have work all week and no way to get there and then your buddy loans you his car without accepting no as an answer even though he needs his car too. That's friendship.
Those are all things that have happened to me. You'll find the same thing if you ever suffer with someone who calls themselves your friend. The key part is that there has to be suffering. Without it, anyone can claim to give a **** but very few do.

if you don't trust anyone and believe everyone's interests are ill-spirited you'll get absolutely no where and no one will want to be with you. you need to lower your guard and let people in fully aware that their intentions could be bad or they unintentionally harm you. on the other hand they could be equally as likely to trust in you too
i think it helps never to expect anything and take it all as it comes. you will either be pleasantly surprised, or disappointed, and you won't be as upset as you would be if you expected a different outcome

It would be like letting your kids go to start driving/going to parties on their own. All you can do is monitoring, not be overbearing and just hope they the right type of person to overcome pressure and urges. I've heard and seen the most innocent, delightful, pleasant people just cheat and try hide it. You can never really trust anyone, but if you act like they always will then you will push them away. It's basically a huge lottery/gamble in life and having a faithful partner is one of them.
I know one friends who stole from another after many years of the other person helping them through tough times. Humans are volatile, and that's why I only associate myself with people of good character - and even then you can never truly know unless it's very close family.
However you have to trust people. Your option is to never be in a relationship, thus never be cheated on, but then never have a chance of a life-long partnership or to put yourself out there and take a risk. I won't deny Western culture is sickening how it condones playing around and being promiscuous. And yes, social media is a major fuel to this demon.

I am the same. I pretend to trust people, but don't actually trust anyone and secretly expect the worst from people, but I think that's a problem. It's not healthy.

at least that way you almost never get screwed and if people do stay loyal/follow through it feels 10x better

I’ve been ****ed over by more guys than I have been women.
Most of the women in my life have shown me nothing but care and loyalty through their actions, whether we were dating or not. And I have not always made it easy for them.

She can sloot and hf on the side via online dating. Females are in the workplace now and it is easier for them to have flings with coworkers from office. She can marry you, leave you, and take half your chit. She can cuck you into raising some other guy's kid. If you don't comply with her wishes, she could accuse you of abuse or rape and have you arrested. There's just little reason for girls to be loyal to one guy unless they think he's the absolute best guy in the world. And no guy can be that guy. Some guys are athletic, tall, talented, creative, etc and would make good genetic donors. Other guys are really rich, caring, kind, etc and would make good providers. Some guys are just really aesthetic and would make a good fuk. Sloots have every incentive to cheat on all 3 types and get the best of all worlds. And our society is now against slut shaming, etc. "It's her own business." And if she doesn't feel like she has slooted enough, she can legally kill her unborn child. I just dunno. I am sure some females out there are loyal, but that number is decaying pretty rapidly.

Been cockblocked and screwed over by dudes far more than I've been screwed over by women.
Wincel, you need to stop worrying about chit like this. You're not in a relationship, why are you worried about stuff like this? You're single because your head is filled with all this negative unnecessary stuff.
Step 1)get a gf
Step 2)worry about not getting cheated on
You're more worried about step 2 than you are on step 1. Sure you can be cheated on. There's probably a girl cheating on a guy on every second of every day. Guys who worry about that stuff all the time usually end up being cheated on the most.

by being at least 2 points above her in terms of looks. That way she will always be insecure about you leaving her for someone better and instead you being insecure about her leaving you for someone else.

Honestly in life there are very few people you can truly trust. You can't even trust your own family sometimes. It's not just that so many people are straight up kunts and humans also have lapses in judgement, but sometimes people are only loyal to a select few. And if you trust somebody there's no guarantee you are one of those few they choose to be loyal to no matter how long you've known them or what your relationship is. Extend your faith carefully and be stingy with it.
That being said, at some point in time in order to truly be happy and have meaningful relationships you have to allow yourself to be vulnerable. Vulnerability is a precursor to developing trust with people. To trust someone means you are at their mercy and leaving them in control.
It's true when they say if you don't trust people how can you expect them to trust you? It will eventually reveal itself through your sub communications and the general vibe you give off when talking to people. And big surprise here: people don't respond well to people who don't trust them. If they don't feel trusted they won't want to reciprocate it. Why would you feel the desire to be loyal to somebody who doesn't trust you? In a way it's a pessimists self-fulfilling prophecy. The other day someone made a thread about the law of attraction. This is a good example of your inner thoughts altering how others treat you. Sometimes you need to give people the benefit of the doubt.

Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.
