If it didn't cost $1000 I would have done it. Dude said it would be one of the very first rs3's to have it. In North America anyway.
I was considering the same, but it's not worth the issues with the warranty that could arise IMO.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Nice car but that car is the definition of limited space.

I wanted something that doesn't stick out like a corvette, has nice interior and still fast enough to be impressive. This car met all standards I wanted at a relatively ok price point. And there's not manny of them. In a selfish way I want Trump to impose big tariffs on German cars so they become more rare and more expensive.

The Macan was the first car we looked at. I just didn't need all it had to offer. Basically going for the same price as the rs3. Nice ride though.

Watched a modded new-ish (not sure 2017 or 2018) RS3 dyno @ 550hp yesterday. Dude said it was having trouble, they tested it at 670hp a while ago.

Definitely. I read in one of the Audi forums that these things are going deep 10’s with intake, tune, exhaust, and passenger seat removed. May even have been 9’s. It had slicks.

If I’m going into a turn and one wheel starts to slip or spin the computer will detect it and withdraw power from that wheel and apply it to one with the most down pressure.

so you dont lose grip on brutal launch from complete stop

also helps a lot in taking corners because it will distribute power to minimise wheel slip

power distributing to 4 wheels is gonna get more traction than 2 wheels, especially if the power is huge

Niiiiice. Mate just got his S3 the other day (not quite RS3) but still crazy fast. I have a BMW M135i which is stupid quick too. Not sure it competes with RS3, but its not far off! 3.0litre turbo 0-62 in 4.9s & 322BHP. That straight 6 sound though I think is better than the Audi which is my only complaint about them

Was racing my bike on the track and apparently someone cut in front of me and I clipped him doing 130. I don’t remember anything but I was in a coma for 9 days, icu for 14, hospital for 37, rehabilitation for 30. Off work almost a year, learn how to walk again. The whole 9 yards. I was close to dead several times. I call it my journey to the underworld.

Didnt read whole thread but do not do this lol. I blew an s4 engine with an APR tune.... didnt even drive it hard but had it for 70k km. Never acted up but one day a piston blew right through the header. I cant say 100% it was the tune, but it was only 2.5 years old so I blame the tune.

Also it'll void your warranty and car will get flagged by VW.

Mirin car though. Good choice.

Yeah I had the feature as well to set it back to stock but what I was reading is that the ECU has a history and if they pull the history it'll show. I'm sure some tech savvy dudes could wipe it clean but I wouldnt trust it while the cars on warranty. The RS3 has balls. Enjoy it stock for a while before you make the decision.

Got an S3 a bit over a year ago before the RS was available, but the RS is damn nice. Thinking of test driving one just to punish myself.

Wishing they offered Econmey mode for those long drives like they do in Europe.. but I'm usually in Dynamic/Sport
