Cool, cool, cool. Let's make some things happen.

First of all, if you wanna get laid, you're going to have to stop focusing on getting laid. It sounds really counter-intuitive, but it's the truth. That's okay, the misc is gonna' get you there. Lemme throw you some goodies to help along the way;

Mind:

Some good reads to start your journey:
The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*** by Mark Manson
No More Mr. Nice Guy by Robert Glover
The Way of The Superior Man by David Dieda

I'm 100% sure a quick google will yield some PDFs so you can get started before even buying the books.

Body
Find a routine, and get into the habit of going into the gym as often as possible for the time being. Start simple, but build a lifestyle around it. Start your cut, and work your way from there. Lyle McDonald has an awesome PSMF routine that is really rough, but I've used it for my last 3 cuts and have loved it. It's not for everyone, but it could get you where you wanna go.Otherwise, get on a deficit, and ****in' eat things you like while counting your calories and hitting macros.

What is your current routine like? What are you currently doing to hit weight loss goals? How much do you know about lifting, counting calories, etc?

Life:
This one is sorta' tricky in a way. What do you want to do? Where do you see yourself over the next few years? What are you looking to accomplish? You see the thing is, if you're investing in yourself, people can tell. When you're putting time and effort in to make sure you get where you need to go, people notice. Not only do they notice, but they're attracted to that. Here's your catch 22, though. When things start to come together, you'll notice the opposite sex is more attracted to you... But you're gonna' care a whole lot less, because your focus is on getting where you want to go. Sure, sex is ****in' great, otherwise we wouldn't do it. But it's gonna' mean a whole lot less than it does to you now... Because you'll be getting it.

Let's fukkin go brah.

Goal quantification is an interesting thing. I think the issue that OP has with it would likely be because he's not sure what to value beyond getting laid. I mean, if you think about it... The main goal for him here is to "get him laid" which essentially means that's the be-all-end-all for him.

Likely, that's the reason he's having trouble quantifying his goals. As a direct result, we'd have to work on shifting the metrics of success for OP in order to get an accurate answer about that... Right?

-Lose weight
-Get a job
-Get a GF

That's pretty much what his goals boil down to. I would post an exact quote but it was posted on a private forum and what goes on there stays on there. Meanwhile myself and the other members would have a list of at least 10 items per month that are clearly defined. He has a job, if you missed his thread yesterday but he should still be on the job market considering. He's lost weight, but he can't seem to drop more than 20 pounds until he goes through a bad time and puts it back on. GF-wise, he's only hitting on miscers and colleagues. That won't work until he stops being needy.

Thanks for the cliffs, mang. I haven't been around in a minute and a half. Literally just coming back today.

This information is good, because it lets us know where we need to work on things. I mean, there are a lot of things that can be improved... But the good news for OP is that those things can all be worked on. Everybody can stand to improve.

1) He's gonna have to work on the whole sticking to the diet thing. Maybe it needs to be much more regimented in the beginning so as to prevent him from going off course... Maybe something with simple guidelines that is easy to implement. Could be either or, can't really say without better knowledge of OP's habits as far as breaking diets go.
2) Maybe look at the reasons why he is not putting himself onto the job market? This is probably a priority thing.
3) Get him talking to people that are not his co-workers and miscers... Which means, figuring out how to get him into social situations outside of work without making him too uncomfortable.
4) Work on figuring out what it is that's causing him to feel needy, and helping him shift metrics.

-Inform parents you're no longer going to eat their food, and ask for a food allowance instead.
-Learn how to cook healthily
-Eat a properly cooked meal practically every day, limit fast food to once a month or never.
-Cut out all snacks that aren't protein rich or fibrous
-Drink only water and juice (no added sugar or flavourings)
-Buy a set of scales and weigh out pasta, rice etc when cooking every time

2) Maybe look at the reasons why he is not putting himself onto the job market?

-Fine-tune CV, maybe get help from someone
-Determine what skills you can potentially build upon to add versatility
-Apply anywhere just to practice interviews

3) Get him talking to people that are not his co-workers and miscers... Which means, figuring out how to get him into social situations outside of work without making him too uncomfortable.

-Make an account on meetup.com, find group with same interests

4) Work on figuring out what it is that's causing him to feel needy, and helping him shift metrics.

-Learn how to take women off the pedestal by reading [moderate] books on dating and being satisfied with having female friends and pay attention to their dating red flags.
That's my attempt at quantifying what you've written. Izzo lacks that capacity- hopefully he'll take something from it.

Juice is just as bad as soda srs...I have been drinking juice, and that's what is keeping my weight high...liquid calories are always chit unless you are carefully measuring them. Oz for oz, orange juice has just as many cals as coca cola. It may have more nutrients, but it is just as bad.

Juice is a way to ween you off soda. I only have around one glass a day in sips to help with my blood sugar.

I understand how boring water can be when you've lived off sugar as an adult for god knows how long.

True...god I remember when I was addicted to soda...It's so funny looking back at it. Now, I have zero desire to drink that nasty chit.

Thanks for your insights Tobias.

I don't really like juice so the drinking water part will be ok for me. I'm not really addicted to sodas, only have one a month or so.

I don't eat much fast food, haven't lately and my mom has been going to the gym and eating healthier, so we have healthy food at our house.

I am still working in retail as a Sales Associate at Dollar General. I want to get a better paying job definitely. The city where I live is ranked as the 7th worst in the United States:
7. Albany, Ga.

Population: 74,904
Median home value: $88,800
Poverty rate: 32.5%
Pct. with at least a bachelor's degree: 20.1%

The populations of several cities on this list are shrinking, but few are losing residents as fast as Albany, Georgia. In the last five years, Albany's population declined by 4.8%, even as the U.S. population expanded by 3.7%. The falling population is likely attributable in part to bleak economic conditions. Some 32.5% of city residents live in poverty, more than double the state poverty rate of 16.0% and the U.S. rate of 14.0%. More jobs in the city would likely go a long way to ease serious financial hardship. Some 7.0% of workers in Albany are out of job, the highest unemployment rate of any Georgia city.

I put women on a pedestal because I am a 32 year old virgin, there was a time when I never hit on women at all or talked much to them or anything and I never got any attention from them. Yeah, it would be nice to have female friends to start with.

I don't have enough money to move. Though my older brother lives in Madison, WI and said I can stay with him and look for a better job if I want. I don't know what it is like up there in general.

So I now know the following things:

Georgia is a southern state
It's a neighbour of Florida

It sounds like you need to pack up and leave in the long term. Have you considered Atlanta or going overstate to Florida?

I drink alcohol rarely. Two days ago I had a 2% lemon and raspberry bottle of beer (although would have bought zero alcohol but it was just plain lemon), and a week before that I had a bottle of Milk Stout to celebrate finishing a semester of teaching. I love the taste of stout, the alcoholic content is an unfortunate addition.

Living in the northern states would be a huge change I bet. Why not visit him one week/weekend and take a look around?

I have considered Florida but Atlanta is too crowded for me personally, I want to live somewhere that doesn't have as many people.

How do you think I would do if I moved to Poland, do you feel I would fit in there?

I wouldn't move to Atlanta either, cities are a big no-no unless there's plenty of outdoor potential.

No, you'd not fit in. You either have to be super social or super hard working, I get a real run for my money here but I like the challenge. You'd have a really hard time due to your lack of work ethic, a lack of social skills and I think it's way out of your comfort zone. As in changing planets. You haven't even experienced independence so moving countries is big, never mind changing continents and to a non English speaking country.

Looking at Tampa I couldn't help but notice you shared the name with a nearby area, haha. Maybe you could live inthatplace.

I'd prefer to live in Orlando, due to it being next to two state forests rather than 1, and all the nearby lakelands. But what matters most is the job market. You should have looked into the job market in Tampa already if you've been considering moving there.

I actually found Poland preferable to England as well. Mainly the appearance/demeanour of the people and less-westernised culture. However of course living there is a totally different ball game. I was only there for just over a week. I know that they are way more nationalistic and over all more 'resilient' than UK.

All the best with your goals JtotheIzzo. It is good to see that you have continued to lose weight and will defo look better when you are down to your desired weight. I'm sure you'll get there. As others have said, in terms of self-improvement it is often best to set solid foundations and build from the ground up (somewhat quoting 2010 Robin Hood there!)

I will warn everyone here that weight loss doesn't solve your problems. Trust me. It's just the tip of the fuking iceberg. Same goes for money, etc. Look at carsalesmanbrah...You aren't rejected because you are fat. You got fat because you were rejected. Took me a long time to realize that about myself.

No, he hasn't. If I didn't know you any better I'd say it was a call out

Re; weight loss, it can really help with first impressions. As in being fat leaves an immediate bad impression.
