Yeah this situation could have turned out so much more horribly if the coach didn't step up and keep the kids alive and sane for 9 days on his own. Accidents happen all the time. He doesn't deserve a medal or anything but let the man life out the rest of his life without anymore guilt or harm.

I posted the above early on in the thread with my rescue idea which is almost exactly what they're doing to rescue them, and the amount of **** talkers in the thread was ridiculous to practically anyone coming up with ideas.

Anyways glad the efforts have been successful thus far. Kinda cool to see the whole globe rooting for these kiddos.

Most of it was walkable. They only had to dive a small portion of the trip. Also had thai navy seals as they believed its important to build a connection with the kids to get their morale up. They've also been eating MRE's and drinking water to help with their energy levels

hope they all get out. Truly an amazing story. Sad that one person already died
