we never have the lights on but we shmang during the day and night so basically just depends on the time of day whether it is dark in the room or not

Since no one has said it, I will:

"Sex whenever and wherever (within mutually decided reason) and however I want crew". Lighting has pretty much never had anything to do with it unless say, I'm in a room that has no curtains, and it's dark outside. Then I might deliberately turn the lights off to prevent people outside from seeing. Operative word 'might'.
