you're gonna regret burning through all that money. Instead of spending money on rent, spend money on fixing your car and then doing whatever employment you said you could get if you had a working vehicle. Sleep in your car for a while and shower at the gym or in the ocean, not that bad.

Can you apply for any food/cash assistance until you get on your feet or does CA require residency? Sounds like you're an OR resident, so not sure how that works. I'd go down to the local agency that handles that kind of stuff and speak to a case worker. You're in an emergency situation and need to start working on ending the bleeding.

As others have said you need to get out of that expensive room ASAP, but I seem to keep hearing excuses from you. You know impending doom is coming if you continue on your current path, you've been advised to get off that path, and yet you still go down that path. Not sure what else to tell you.
Union Strong. Workers are stronger together.
The GOP is a criminal organization who despises the middle class and working poor. Name one policy they have pushed for that increased worker pay, union strength, or worker influence in a corporation.

Sacramento area. I’m in sales. I had to quit college at 19 due to medical stuff. I didn’t get cancer free till 22. It’s been 3 ish years (yay). I worked for a very big deal company prior to quitting without notice to take care of my uncle. I’m pretty sure they are ****ing me over when employers call to check my work history.

My friend still works there and the boss brought me up last week in not a good way... I assume he got a call then.

You have to set some short-term goals and long-term goals. I understand that you would like to use your skill-sets from your previous job but if you're unable to land a job in your expertise field, swallow your pride and apply for a decent paying job. Cash flow will be coming in, which will allow you to get a place and time to plan your next career, etc., move.

I wish you the best of luck! Things will get brighter.

Bro not sure if srs.

Look on gumtree property to share and find a room in a house share. Will be way cheaper.

Failing that, buy a backpack and a large piece of luggage and check into a backpacker's hostel. (leave cat and other excess baggage with a friend, and get them back when you've sorted yourself out).

At the backpacker's hostel say you're from out of town and visiting some relatives for a couple of weeks. You will have to share a dorm with 6-8 other people but it beats sleeping on the street.

Failing that, buy a $500 car, and sleep in that until you find a job / place.

you're living in a state where the weather is a godsend. Why not just sleep in your car and use public amenities such as free wifi / free showers at gym etc

Also, maybe uber might work? you have a car, that's all you need

I did when moving. After I found a 199/week hotel I switched to that a couple weeks B4 finding a real place to live.

It was actually probably some of the most fun I ever had.... BRB, driving to a different city for a few days because I feel like it.

i took him on a walk like I did a lot when we were in oregon. He sprinted ahead on the path about 5 feet and killed a western rattle snake that would have been in my way.

Another time he alerted me to carbon minoxide leaking. Our neighbors wife cooked beans. The burner blew out and so gas was filling the house. He clawed me and he kept bellowing at the front door to go out.

I would never abandon cats in general because I’m not linuxjon. My cat is family.
