Every world cup I try to get into soccer. The rest of the world must love it for some reason. Every world cup I'm reminded why it's awful to watch.

This game Croatia comes out and looks better than France. France is gifted two goals on flopping and rule stupidity, then Croatia has to press in the 2nd half to make up for France being spotted two goals. That plays right into France's strength, countering. And then the game is over.

The South American teams (thinking of Uruguay ans Brazil) are unwatchable because their best player's strategies revolve around flopping (thinking of Neymar and Suarez).

Probably won't watch the next one even if the U.S. makes it in.

Watch between World cups....it always blows my mind when soccer noobies disregard soccer until each world cup and yet put monumental expectations on it.

Watch the rest of the football so you can understand the game (its pros and cons) before watching the world cup. But this has been the best WC in some time.

Aside from the flopping there has been insane quality from Neymar and Suarez. Stop focusing on the bad.

As someone who has played soccer for 15+ years, league soccer is awful to watch. Soccer in general is pretty lacklustre.

Why would I watch more of something I don't enjoy?

It's hard not to focus on the bad when the bad things ruin the game for me. One illegitimate goal really changes the game and it's hard not to think about that.
