The bloat immediately went away. And I’m not talking the cope bullchit “bloatlord mode” thing that people didn’t realize is a troll topic so they did it IRL and now they’re fat lol...

Money, I was spent $700-850 a month of it.

First of all - congrats brother.

Second - with days like this were you just drunk the entire time? How did you work/function? Did you have a job?

I've been thinking about this lately - I'm not sure if it's a phase in life but when I drink I tend to go to a really dark place now, nothing like the happy place I used to go do when I'd drink (and laugh a lot, easy going).

oh, and I'd already quit before I read this book, but I HIGHLY recommend that anyone struggling with alcohol read this book:

https://www.amazon.com/Stop-Drinking...p+drinking+now

The idea is that it unravels all the societal brainwashing surrounding alcohol (there is more than you know), thereby eliminating your desire to drink. if you have no desire to drink, you never feel deprived. you just feel free.

How did you train while drinking so much?

Congrats on being sober. Alcoholism is prevalent in my family.

As I get older I drink less and less. Just isn't worth it anymore. Being drunk is being insecure about something. A few beers every now and again is fine. I'm not sure I'd ever want to give that up but who knows.

Congrats bro.
Your tolerance must have been threw the roof.

I enjoy drinking for special occasions.
But as I got older, I have stopped the party/drinking lifestyle.
I can go to the bar and not touch a drink now If I want.
Feels good.

same, mostly because the severity of my hangovers don't outweigh the fun anymore, sometimes I wonder how much I'd drink if I didn't get hangovers

I mean I would go out to a restaurant/bar bar and watch sports and drink 2-3 nights a week and easily spend $50-65 there along with a couple 12-packs a day. It wasn’t good...

People gave me chit about what I spent my my girl’s ring and I’m like aaaagh...it was a few months of not drinking worth lol.

Unfortunately, yeah...my tolerance was really high and I worked it to the point where I didn’t like doing things without a buzz. Now I actually have to address chit and it’s great.

Yeah man...I just traveled back to see family and it’s a place where I would always get fuked up with friends. It was nice to be back and just enjoy family time instead of just doing the same old chit.

30 beers daily is an issue lol.

I enjoy a few beers on the weekend so I don't think I will ever fully quit. I never get completely hammered anymore though.

Could legit not function at that level, good to hear you are off that and on to something productive. Don't know how TF you were even able to recover sleep wise and from workouts given that amount of booze.

Keep at it man, for yourself and your family.

There were times where I would leave the room and puke during a workout but I heard a quite while back that made a lot of sense by MLK...”that which you do not hate, you will eventually tolerate.” Apparently I didn’t hate it enough...

Excellent job. What as happened to your lifts in the last 9 months? Were you still putting up big numbers a year ago? I have cut down alot to only a few at the weekend which I am happy with. Wasn't drinking anywhere near the same but most days none the less.

I don't know why but I don't suffer any of the negative effects except the odd hangover when I drink lethal amounts

Maybe it's because I only drink at night?

I mean I drank 20 beers the night before a meet in March of 2016 and totaled 1550 lbs. at 222lbs. Two years later after drinking daily, etc...I quit 10.16.17 and did my next meet March of 2018 and totaled 1709 at 218. Physique wise it was a drastic change as well.

Can you elaborate on the bloat going away? How long, how much difference, what areas (chin fat/stomach)?
A friend drinks ~3beers a day, if they stop drinking entirely, will the chin fat go away?
