I know that feel bro. Thought it was just me. But its an epidemic. Its worse when the girls are fit and the guys are dyel. Yes its a great feeling when they check you out, double take, using their peripherals and smiling and the boyfriend is all jealous watching her and shyt. You're kinda exaggerating, all I said was they occasionally check out other dudes other than her bf as if that means she has the urge to cheat or phuck the other dudes right then and there. If you are walking down the street with your gf/wife and see a hot chick, will you not check her out? It doesn't have to mean you want to cheat but it's not like when you are in a relationship you only have eyes for your partner.

we usually go to separate gyms, but there are plenty of times when the wife lifts at my gym..........earbuds are in and we're in completely separate worlds. The only time we interact is if we walk by each other and grab a quick ass feel or something

You can workout with your gf and not put up a cringeworthy performance like the instagram #fitcouples who spend half the time taking up space for selfies and talk about the "cheat meal" they are going to have after their hardcore crossfit tabata as if they keep some resemblance of a diet.

You're right, OP. I've seen it before and it's silly but I typically get a chuckle out of it and carry on. I usually don't see married couples doing it though...just younger folks like yourself. My wife and I go off and do our own thing when we go to the gym together. We give each other a high five on the way out but that's about it.

I only care about stuff like this when they're taking up a bench/squat rack for too long, that'll definitely piss me off beyond belief. Sets/reps are more important than instagram

Lots of strong girls at my gym. Normally ask them to spot me as I trust them more. This same couple were next to me once and I asked the girl to spot me not the guy as he was weak as fuk. I'm sure that hurt his feelings asking his girl to spot me.

OP you sound selective in your judgement. My wife and I occasionally work out together, and while I am not Hulk status, I am certainly larger/stronger than most others at the gym. And even if I or anyone else who worked out with their significant other weren't big/strong, why does it matter to you? Strong projection of insecurity.
