Then don't sign a marriage contract. You would never sign a contract that lopsided for anything else. If you sign a marriage contract as man you know what is going to happen in the event of a divorce.

No one forced you to sign it. You agreed to the terms.

Hearing this kind of sheet depresses me. It's sad the kind of society we live in nowadays and the way men and women treat each other. I was talking to my mama and she was even talking about how hard it is to find a good women nowadays and how women changed since social media came. Just lol at defending the girl the guy got a degree got a well paying job a 900k house for him and his wife worked hard long hours and this is how he gets repayed. The girl knew his personality/looks before she got married but men will shet on the dude and call him a beta cuck. This is why the sloots do this crap because they get validation from women and MEN.

Goodluck ever finding a decent girl who is willing to fully commit to you if youre are not committing to her.

Yes, there is a chance you will break up and she can take 50% of your stuff.

But how do you think she will be with you if you dont commit to her, because your either so insecure she will leave you or you dont love her enough to commit to her.

She will be getting dikked HARD by every tom, dick and harry and just not telling you about it. And she will show zero remorse because you have showed zero commitment to her for a long term relationship.

Also, what if you've been seeing a girl for 20 years and you have 2 kids together. Have a great house and all that. Shes a great mum and girlfriend. Do you really think she would be happy that you could pull the rug from below her at any moments notice? Highly doubt it.

The only difference here is if I had like £100M networth from family inheritance or something and the girl I was marrying had £0.

For me, worst case scenario in a divorce. I lose half my **** - but because I earn a lot, I can earn what I lost back pretty quickly. She would still have a fked life after spending the initial settlement because she earns about 40-50x less than me.

people can make a commitment to each other without getting married. chicks are the only ones who usually assume "commitment" automatically means matrimony.

You're not afraid of divorce. You likely know you have personality issues, and you probably wouldn't be able to hold anyone down anyway, so you tell everyone you're not getting married to make it seem like you're a boss.

And yes, times change quickly. 2 years tho lmao.

The article suggests that the divorce rate will continue to decrease.

And make sure to remind yourself that divorce rate =/= monkey branching. Plenty of men and women get divorced and don't move onto anyone ASAP. The rate of monkeybranching is lower than the divorce rate, giving you great odds.

I agree w/ your post.

Contrary to popular belief, money isn't everything.

Inheriting a large sum of money from a divorce can actually be the end of you. Lots of poverty miscers on the misc think that millions = easy street. No one ever sits down and considers how badly having a lot of money desensitizes you.
brb have everything, eat at every resturant, travel frequently, all that gets boring. Now what?
brb hit club scene 5-6 nights a week, tons of illegal drugs, and then your tolerance is high, youre blowing a ****ton of money, and you end up broke/dead with no life skills.

What a toxic mindset. The way to win a marriage is not to play. The irony here is that if a girl is willing to walk because you won't sign a legal property contract, then you definitely shouldn't trust her to be in it for life.

My friendo here dun goofed. His wife had $500k+ reasons to leave and social media spurring her on 24/7. That's a LOT of pressure on a marriage when one partner gets bored.

so much hateful misogyny and victim shaming itt

do you the situation to comment and say how unfair it is on the husband? the wife was probably treated like shiet and expected to be his servant doing the cooking cleaning while also forced to be his sex slave and put out every week

how can you even blame a woman for wanting to get out of of such an oppressive unequal marriage

Why does everyone go straight to "smash the wife?"

Also not posting pics of actual house. It's a row home. You've seen them before.

have your wife talk the woman into having an affair.

you talk Stemcel into hiring a private investigator to observe wifes affair.

Stemcel wins everything in divorce settlement.

It may sound petty but I would side with the guy in this case, tell him I have his back 100% just out of principle alone. It doesn't matter if the guy is a gullible, naïve sap who should have seen this coming. It doesn't matter if he is boring or he could have been a better husband or whatever, you don't take someone to the cleaners and try to bleed them dry just because you can. Siding with the guy and helping him get his chit together so he can mitigate or hopefully avoid a disaster would, in my mind, set a precedent that this kind of chit won't slide. Don't let her get her way and take chit she never really earned just because herp derp he should have seen it coming.

Wa. Thankfully there is no common law marriage here, but once you sign that marriage contract, it's game over. No fault divorce.

sounds to me like you're more in denial about the fact that statistically you are likely to end up divorced

judging by your avi, you're still young -- and your stance on marriage tells me you already tied the knot, which means you married young and you are even more likely to end up divorced

In this day and age, the women has to be as successful or more successful in order to get married. It's a huge risk marrying down, so until you can find someone that can live without you financially - don't even consider getting married.

Especially when women can be strung along/manipulated into being a girlfriend without the marriage for 8-10 years easily. By that point she's not going to just bail because you won't marry her.

Met a guy not to long ago that has been dating the same chick for 25 years. They have teenage kids together. Just been stringing her along. Never married her.

Most of these husbands that are getting cucked wanted to be married/have that stable family life. They put all kind of effort into finding a woman they wanted to be their wife, then the honeymoon stage, then they quit that effort and she decided to find something new.

Because all the money in the world won't replace the attention they crave. And most guys that are high earners are too busy to just hang out with their girlfriend/wife all the time.

Disagree with you saying monkeybranching will die down. If anything it'll increase with how social media is making it easier and easier to cheat and keep things a secret.

And you can still learn life skills while hitting the club every weekend. And traveling never gets boring because there's endless places to travel.

Money isn't everything but it's definitely easy street once you have millions.
