She's older than me (barely) and I agree with her.
but i'm not going to dart ahead to get the door. That's ****gy time.
if a woman expects me to hold the door she gives me the opportunity to get into position.

Also, until some arrangement has been met or there is sexors she can walk on the outside while we are on the sidewalk.

No clue.
When I was younger that chit didn't exist.
Now, women my age are scrambling just to find a dude who can get it up more than once, not obese, not on drugs, not living in his parents basement.
Hell having a job and your own house is the jackpot.

For guys who can afford to sugar daddy....them i'm truly jelly of them.

fuk, I needed something a helluva lot stronger than beer before she looked like the pics she sent.
lol You didn't know you could do all that? That's why I never trust anyones pics on the internet. Ever.

Sigh....... I knew someone was going to take what I said the wrong way. Just expected it to be guys all in an outrage. lol If I get there first, I open and hold the door for guys. I do it all the time for guys walking in and out of my building or going through the door to go up the steps. I think it surprises them sometimes that a woman is holding the door for them.

Exactly to the bolded. I don't expect anyone to hold the door for me, but it definitely says something about them if they don't. Especially on a date. Just like I don't expect the guy to open the car door for me, but if they do they definitely get points. It's just a nice manly gesture, IMO.

On one of my first dates with my ex, he unlocked (didn't have power locks) my door and opened it for me. Once I got in, I of course leaned over and unlocked his door for him. He said he knew right then that I was a good one.

Holding doors and leaning over to unlock the driver's door just seems like common courtesy to me. I suppose I am old fashioned though. I have no interest in spending time with inconsiderate people.

Oh I was not outrage. lol. I think I took it the wrong way. Per Danielle's date, I thought you ladies were talking about the guy having to run up to the front to open the door when he is in the back in the first place. But I agree with you that whoever is in the front should open the door for the other person.

Exactly. It's common courtesy and I don't want to date someone who can't be bothered being considerate.

Had a female friend tell me I had to do this for my dates in order to be more chivalrous.

Told her I have to be to the right of the girl (it’s not a superstition or anything) I’m lefthanded so I like to look left. So I will be on the street side if we are on sidewalk to the left of the street. On the right side of the street, I’m not moving to be closer to the sidewalk.

It’s a stupid ass pseudo rule. If a car jumps the curb, we are both getting hit most probably.

We were both walking side by side and he didn't open the door. I've notice here in the West some men doesn't open the door (f*ck feminism), but down South a man will go out of his way to open a door for a lady.

Its so hypocritical though and goes to show how women care don't care far less about intent and more about how you come across.

rock climbing shirtless = wow, adventerous and hot body

shirtless selfie = eww gross how vain

YET, we both know the man has the SAME intent for both pictures - showing off his body.

Quick question:

Girl I work with in a restaurant, so its not a serious job at all.
I think she's cute but I don't really get signs that she's attracted to me.
Should I just go for it and ask her to hangout?

What if it gets awkward when she says no?

Aren't most dates/relationships form when the girl has made it clear that she's attracted to the guy and the guy makes a move?

thanks

Yep, true dat. Being subtle about chit is important with women to not come across as a douche.

Be careful given you work with her. The potential break up is alot more awkward than a rejection. So if you and her are lifers there, don't do it.

If you are worried about being rejected then just build rapport with her, banter and tease her. If she is receptive and engages you back, it's safe to say that its on and you shouldn't get rejected asking her out. Also use other women you work with to gauge her interest and make her jelly. Flirt and try to make them laugh when she is around and then observe her. Is she starring at you showing signs of jelly? Wouldn't surprise me if she barged in to see what the fuss is about either.

So CMB is a bit more "serious" and you get a few suggestions per day. I believe for every pass you get 30 beans. Yeah it was confusing for me at first. When I re-downloaded it they gave me 1,000 beans. It's kinda like Hinge where you get 10 likes per day. Or you can pay for an unlimited amount of likes. I think it also gives you free takes as well.
Question for you, do you see more quality girls on CMB and Happn?

CMB has some potential in regards to higher quality girls. But again I haven't seen more than 15 profiles so far. I'm just going to pop on this app once a day for the next couple days and see what happens with these "beans". I have a feeling ill be deleting this app within a week or so.

Happn has almost zero activity in my area. I downloaded the app on Saturday morning and have since been roughly 30 minutes in all directions of my apartment....5(!) total "happns" since then. Ironically just last night I went out with the only girl Ive talked to on Happn and it was a complete dud of a date. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed but this chick was stuck on stupid. lol. Ill probably be deleting this app by tonight.

I'm still not fully ready to jump back into the dating game but once I am ill just get on Bumble where ive had a solid mix of activity, quality girls and dates.

That's the same with me and I'm in a major city. I get about 1 or 2 likes per day. Never used Happn before and no one really talks about it around my area. It's mostly Tinder and Bumble. I deleted Bumble after a week. I got sick of no responses/wanna fuk messages. Seems like Bumble is Tinder 2.0, just a hook up app.

Saw the PHD a few weeks ago, couldn't see her last week.
My free nights were limited due to kids and she was leaving thursday to visit family until this upcoming sat so this week was shot also.
She knows i'm going on vacation next week and wanted to try and meet when she gets back and before I go.
That was last wed.
Today she is texting me and mentions her boss.
huh?
I mention i thought she was out of town.
nope.
supposedly her uncle broke his leg so she just went to the lake for a long weekend instead and has been home since monday.
LOL!

This chick has been sending me selfies daily and flirting with me while i'm thinking she is out of town and she doesn't think to mention she is home so we can possibly go out again before I go on vaca?

seems she lost interest in dating but still wants my attention.
nope nope nope.

so me and that girl from a few pages back have been getting along pretty great, still hanging out regularly

its been a month now, and well i go back to school in september in a different city than her.

last night she made called me a "summer fling" jokingly, but also mentioned visiting me at school and that "ill be lost without her"

i think there was more joking references made towards not just being a summer fling but im not entirely sure. I dont wanna ask in case this is just a summer fling, and id lose that last month

I just kinda wanna gather opinions cause im leaning towards her wanting to not "break up as much as a summer fling can break up" based on her words but i could obviously be biased

She's insecure/unsure of how you view her and is protecting herself (and hoping maybe you'll correct her) by calling it a "summer fling". The ball's in your court. Was it a summer fling to you?

i responded by kinda jokingly saying of course ill come visit

too many people here have said that the girl should be the one to pursue these things, not me

She's clearly fishing to gauge your interest (without saying it because women are scared chitless of rejection) and wants it to be more that a summer fling.

thats kinda what i was thinking too, ive been trying to play it by trying to confirm i like her too but leaving enough room for doubt so that she doesnt think shes already "got" me

stuff like "why wouldnt i wanna come visit you" instead of just saying i would

is that a dumb play?

well last night she blasted me pretty bad for sending 'mixed signals" so this might not be the best idea. *shrugs*

You could just tell her "i'm not a mind reader, stop beating around the bush and tell me what you want from me". then prepare to go your separate ways.
At this point it's all you really got left.

HockeyBacon: when a girl wants to lock you down, she lets it be known. You should know already if its been a month. Just go with the flow and don't mention anything first.
