If you're buying a new construction condo,take your document to a lawyer and have them go through the Adjustments and negotiate the caps.Bolded because this is such an important takeaway imo.

I don't have much of a family. Dad was a lawyer and sole bread winner for our family after he passed everyone split up. Haven't lived with 'family' since 17. I rented a room from a relative I hardly knew once but that was for around a 1 year because it was cheap.

people don't have to buy in either Vancouver or Toronto though... Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Halifax are all very livable alternatives for a fraction of the price without needing to go get ****ed by taxes and the language police in Quebec.

hell even Edmonton and Winnipeg are pretty OK nowadays

Moved out when I was 24. Sold my house at age 28 and had to move back to my parents for 6 months while I relocated for work..... to be honest, it wasnt that bad lol. Saved up a lot of money and my parents are my bros.

I know a police officer who's been living on his own since he was 17 years old, he joined the military at 17, and became a cop at 21. That's something to admire.

I've been out a few times moving in with various friends and relationships. Moved out for 2 years from 17-18 with two fwb in this ghetto illegal mexican neighborhood and I basically became apart of a mexican gang even learning alot of their language, crazy times... Now after my last relationship ended I'm back home with mom and dad so I have less headache to concentrate on going back to school for programming (already have degree in mechatronics). It sucks to have to invite girls back to your parents house but as long you have a plan in action to get out ASAP .

I first moved out when I was 23, but then moved back home at 26 when I realised renting was for cucks. Didn't move out until I was 29 by which time I had saved enough to by my first house. I now make money by renting property to other people. So nothing wrong living with parents as long as you don't waste the money it saves you on stupid chit.

Lived at college and then moved in with my parents for six months when I graduated. I’m 30 and completely debt free and I do what I want. So much for the debt and ramen noodle theory.

By your late 20s all desirable women will think you are a loser if you still live with your parents.

27 this month and my son and I both live with my parents. Had a place with his mom, we split, she kept the place then lost it. Was making 45k at last job, next year I’m looking at around 100, so hopefully my son and I will have our own home within a year. I’m going to do it right, and wait til I have enough saved for us to live comfortably. I’m not proud of it at all, but anyone who has parents who are there for you when you are down is truly blessed. Chins up brahs, were all gonna make it.

Been moving in and out of my mom's house since I was 18, done it multiple times, and it's more difficult to sustain yourself then people want to admit it. But will be moving out again later this year if not next year, and I don't think I've saved up enough money to be comfortable with the change, along with some other things that are going to make it difficult, but it'll be good to have some freedom again, so I'm somewhat looking forward to it.
