It's not semantics, it's a dictionary definition.

Murder is the unlawful killing of another. Judgement being placed on the guilty is not murder, by Webster dictionary standards.

I'm not going to argue over it with you. You have nice day. I'm sure you will convince someone that God does not exist some day.
"Don't be envious when the grass is greener on the other side because you don't know how much crap it took to fertilize that ground.

Are you ready? "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins. (John 8:24).

What I looked for and found in a woman;

Intelligence
Education
Sense of Humor
Kind Nature
Caring Personality
Good Looks
Independence

Notice I didn't mention subservience, or how she needs to dress, I don't want to marry a child, or a slave.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

No need, some people need that all seeing eye, in fact, for all intents and purposes, I'm Catholic.

No worries. Yes they are. He was my first bf. I had them when I was very young and dumb, but I did my best to give them the best shot at a good life that I could. They are 17 and 15 now. He was a drug addict/ alcoholic. Left him when the oldest was 4. Started over. Never got child support or even a birthday card. My kids are awesome good people. I think their values are better than most adults. They are my greatest contribution to society. I'm very proud.

I'm sorry you had to go through that with their father.

We always learn things the hard way in life.

If your kids have your traditional values you've mentioned ITT I'm sure they'll be set for life.

You should be proud.

I plan all of our meals for the week ahead and post them on the front of the fridge. On the side of the fridge is a white board for anyone to write down what they would like or need for the coming week.

We train together and I don't wear makeup to the gym, but I get dolled up for him every evening. Joan Crawford wrote that every woman should go to her husband's office just once to see all the pretty women who pass by his desk every single day, as a motivator to keep yourself looking nice for your man.

I manage most of our household bills and I prepare all of our tax returns. I also maintain our filing system (most of the time - I hate filing and fall a bit short then I have to catch up on a rainy Saturday afternoon).

I think looking after the home and the family is good and important work. It comes very naturally to me, and I don't feel oppressed. Especially cooking - it's a way to nurture the people I love. I would have loved to have been a full-time wife and mother, run the household with military precision, have a place for everything and everything in its place, to can my own fruits and vegetables, to be more active in the community. When I "retire" I will work part-time so that I can do this.

And I don't think I am alone or rare - there are countless food and beauty and lifestyle bloggers out there with millions of followers. I really want to blog, but I'm too chicken.

Listening is an important part of our relationship. "How was your day?" usually solicits a good conversation rather than a one-word answer. We talk about our goals and we support and encourage each other. I have a really awesome guy and I don't for a minute take him for granted.
You should blog, do it. The only way to manage these days is with little systems like yours.

Do you have kids?

Do you feel like you are in a true partnership with someone who loves and respects you?

What happens when life happens. You get sick or depressed because of a tragedy? Does he step up a little?

Uh, yeah. The same sloot culture you complain about used to be a culture that said sex was evil. Women were taught to just lie really still until the guy finished.

Many women weren’t even aware they were supposed to enjoy it too. It was just a duty to fulfill.

All those negative thoughts and ideas made most of them hate sex and attack any woman who enjoyed it.

Sex was dirty and against God and they hated. It was purely for procreation, not enjoyment.

Legit don’t think you guys realize how much society has changed for the better.

Enjoy your modern women insulting and disrespect you in front of her friends then finding it funny. Enjoy her neglecting your kid if you have one because she's to tired from work. Enjoy her because she's more likely to cheat on you and divorce you and talk half your shet. Enjoy her not cooking and cleaning. Enjoy her wanting a 50k kitchen and not cooking in it. Enjoy her not getting the groceries. Enjoy her not running errands. Enjoy having to cook more than your wife does or going to out eat to some shetty restaurant because eating out every day is expensive. Enjoy paying a crazy amount for daycare because she's not home. Enjoy your kids becoming soft because not enough discipline in the house because you two are rarely home because of work. I'm sure you LOVE your modern women.
Man, you are jaded. Are you divorced? Or just in a horrible relationship and in need of therapy?

Believed that staying loyal/serving their husband and taking care of their family was the most important thing. Even if their husband started running around on them with other women on the side they didn't start schit over it. Etc. They 100% believed their place was as a helper to their husband. None of that strong independent woman that don't need no man line of thinking. Perhaps it was just cultural to my area.

Assuming I met someone that was like my mom was when I was a kid I'd consider. Wake up in the morning before me and cook breakfast. Pack a lil ice chest with drinks/snacks to bring to work. Pay bills/run errands in morning. Cooks lunch that's ready at noon and delivered to me if I can't go home to eat. Does laundry/cleans house/mows the lawn/take care of landscaping in afternoon. Cooks a fresh supper. Cleans dishes/kitchen after every meal, etc. Waits on me in the sense that fixes all food/meals and brings it to me. Brings me something to drink whenever I wanted. Etc.

TBH it would probably be worth the loss income to have someone doing yard work 2x per week. Cleaning the house and mopping the floors daily. Grocery shopping + Cooking 3 different meals per day + cleaning the kitchen and dishes. It would cost a fortune to hire someone to do all that.
You'd have to hire 2 or 3 people to do all that. That's the thing. It's a huge job. It's like your boss at work giving you the workload of 2-3 and getting mad when you can't do it all every single day for all of eternity.

Do you think you'd be smiling and happy, cheery, looking all attractive, going to the gym and have anything fun to talk about anymore?

The women didn't married off at 16 to serve their boss/husband didn't have a choice. They probably didn't give him crap for screwing around because he was the boss and would hurt or control her if she did complain. Or maybe she was too tired to care.

Do these men love their wives as people? Do the love the person? Or just what that person will do for them. There's a huge difference.

Thanks for your encouragement - I just might start blogging.

Yes, we have kids but our children are grown. Two 22YO sons live at home (hence the need for meal-planning! lol).

Yes, I do feel like I'm in a true partnership. We both have quick tempers, but are always respectful. And we're both very affectionate. We have each been married before, and I think we each carry with us lessons from the past that make us better partners this time around. That, and we're just so well-suited. We are compatible in just about every aspect: financially, emotionally, politically, sexually, etc. And we have the same sense of humour. We have been together for 12 years.

And yes, life does happen and he sure steps up. When my eldest sister was palliative, he would drop me at her house every Saturday so that I could spend the day with her, and he would go run all of our errands including the grocery shopping and putting everything away. Years later I cling to the memories of those Saturdays with her. He was my rock during those last 15 months of her life, and while I was grieving.

And my job is exceptionally busy in Q1 each year as I have a government-imposed March 31st deadline I have to meet. It means working long days, most evenings, and weekends. He's right in there making dinner or ordering in for us, and he'll do a swish and swipe of the kitchen and bathrooms. God luv, he's good one.

And he has his stuff he does around the house. I am not very handy, so he does things like minor household repairs, and assembling furniture, things like that. And anything to do with technology. He's an accountant, so I tell him that IT and Facilities report into Finance in this house!

This is ideal imo.

Stay with kids until they go to school, and then get back to making money if that's what you want. More income at that point takes pressure off of the single earner and allows the family as a whole to do more things.

What scientific studies?

Because women's attraction to her partner is more emotional. And women have a harder time getting in the mood when they are bombarded with stress.

Imagine you lived at work and your boss who is never happy with your work also wants you to be affectionate with her and service her. How sexy would you feel?

Men need to learn what creates passion in a woman better.

When the day comes where there is disposable income, I am paying for housecleaning. Even if I have a husband. How nice it must be to not have to worry about that?

I'm not on here often so maybe I haven't read a fair amount of your posts, but from what I have seen...you really are just an instigator.

You add no value to any discussion nor to anyone.
Might want to work on that, hope it's not the case in the real world.

Oh, & if you really want to compare the traeatment of women from
a Christian culture to that of Islamic, please, let's do so..

You can go first.

That's a beautiful thing. You both deserve each other. That's a true partnership. It's what everyone says they want. I think people don't know what a good marriage looks like because there's too many bad examples.

Yes, please start a blog. Let me know if you do, I'll follow it. I struggle a lot with meal planning. You could also blog about what you think makes a good marriage. Or at least what works for you guys. People are very lost and need to hear that.

Oh, & if you really want to compare the traeatment of women from
a Christian culture to that of Islamic, please, let's do so..

You can go first.
That's your opinion, and to me your opinion means nothing, have a great day.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

I'm not a jew, people here call me a jew when I use their own logic against them.

lmao @ you if your lady isn't like this.

My advice if you want a woman like this - find one from a small town that has parents with strong christian values and who is taught that dad makes the rules in the household. Currently dating a black girl from a real small southern town that still pretty much closes down on Sunday. I get up at ~6:30 for work, and she already has coffee, bacon, eggs, and something else (breakfast potatoes, toast, etc...) waiting for me on the table, and has really good food waiting for me when I get home at 6 or so, despite the fact that she went to work as well. Supports all my plans, cleans my apartment every day, buys me beer randomly on her way home, and moved across the country with me 4 months ago to Denver.

People **** on small towns and christian values but its the only way to live. It does come with the responsibility of making a good living, staying in shape, and being a old schoolish man, but it's worth it.

you are over reacting. a 50s car is not as unsafe as you are making it out to be. a drastic crash? you could argue new cars are well engineered for you to survive. but a lower speed crash is not going to kill you. I am not saying they are better. I am agreeing new cars are engineered way better for safety, but you are inserting a false perception that I see a lot.
also, fridges in the 50s could come with automatic icemakers as well. look it up

That's not fast by any means, you can walk out of the new car with some bruises, you will die if you were in the older car.
