I think a lot of people think quiet people are that way because they're trying to hide something. Maybe take the initiative to start a conversation with them? Use caffeine, acetyl l-carnitine, ginseng etc. whatever will help you work up the courage/make you more chatty. I'm quiet too but I realized in order to be more open and conversable with people I have to PRACTICE and put myself out there. Nobody is going to help me but myself.

There's a difference between being a quite person and not talking to ppl, a huge difference. You should still joke around and talk to ppl even if you're quite. James Dean, Marlon Brando and many other icons have been considered strong, silent, cool types.

Not many opportunities for me but

Most people are in small tribes or have their ear buds in/staring at their phones on break so it's hard to get through. Not going to walk up to a random girl from work and holler at her either i really don't want my job to me any more awkward/chitty than it already is. The gym has some HBB's but they are always working out alone or with several orbiters nearby.

Lots of people have tried to provide feedback to him in a mature and constructive manner. He doesnโ€™t listen and continues to spout the same chit. Not only that heโ€™s extremely arrogant and condescending about it.

For example, that time a girl asked for a spot, he said yes and then at the last minute walked away without spotting her. Tried to point out to him that was very weird, and a sign of a personality disorder. He just defended it.

C'mon, we all know that's not how you really feel, otherwise you would be blissfully fine with being alone. Instead, you come on a message board and complain that you are FA.
