It's a cultural thing and has very little to do with race.

There are blacks all over South America and the Caribbean who do not live anything like this.

They also do not live in a welfare state, or an environment that glorifies drug-selling, hate, and violence.

There are so many more immigrants here from the caribbean that are perfectly successful. Its usually american blacks that end up doing horribly, that dont have actual parents raising them. The ones that get involved with church do great, even if theyre in horrible racist white devil communities, they will do fine. You know things are ****ed up with black culture in the US when even third world nations have better cultures than american blacks do. There is nothing more destructive to your chances of success in life than being raised worshipping black rap culture. That is more destructive than any white racism or oppression or institutionalized whatever the **** bull**** liberals are blaming everything on.

Great post. My parents are (legal) immigrants, also, and my pops had a tough life growing up in a third world country, but now he's retired military and is doing very well in his company; he's 100% a success story and never made any fukking excuses to achieve his American Dream. And there's this golf buddy of mine who grew up poor as fukk in Cameroon, but now owns a company and lives in the hills. Neither of them ever bought into that liberal propaganda of "muh oppression" or "muh racism prevents me from succeeding." That's all total bullchit with the purpose of keeping the poor stupid, campaigning for their votes and doing nothing for them after election time. All that chit has done is give an entire generation an excuse to be lazy as fukk, because blaming something is a whole lot fukking easier than taking full responsibility and extreme ownership.

This chit really sucks because theres so much 'culture' surrounding and reinforcing the life style. Like these people involved are often outwardly proud about it (who knows about inside, most likely not) and get their behavior and ideology supported by others making similar horrible choices.

I don't think its all because of racism, that seems like a scapegoat for people who don't want to imagine how complicated it really is. Its more of a culture problem for these areas of impoverished people.

Parenting, education, poverty, racism, violence etc all playing a role but not any one thing being solely responsible. I honestly think these communities need to learn about themselves before they will ever change. Thats all so similar to dealing with addicts too; no matter what you say or do they have to decide something themselves. Thats probably the saddest part imo

Up close and collateral damage, yeah. Every once in a while, some Piru will show up to my gun club (it's higher end and a little expensive for most) and "practice." They can't hit the broad side of a barn from 5 yards.

My entire patrol area is like this. For the most part if u keep it 100 with them and some level of respect they give it right back. Ive had tons of those type specifically ask for me just to snitch on their friends. Ive also chased plenty of them.

When it comes to law enforcement they are like scared little kids.
