Not had a coffee in years crew
How dare you!

Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner.

It's not an addiction if we can quit anytime, we just don't want to right now

Nobody "needs" coffee to function. You think anybody would be bed ridden over skipping coffee for one day?

Having said that you can't quit cold turkey without getting headaches

What's "so much?"

I don't think my 2 cups in the morning is excessive.

I don't suffer from any of the side effects you mentioned either.
Thus let me live, unseen, unknown;
Thus unlamented let me die;
Steal from the world, and not a stone
Tell where I lie.

2-3 cups a day here. 4-5 during cold months.

It feels good man. I like the taste of it more rather than the effects. I could drink a red bull and get the caffeine if i wanted to but i choose coffee each time. It just feels right.

And i can sleep like a baby, even if i drink a cup right before i sleep.

I do agree on the chits though. I just had my 1st cup of the morning about 20 minutes ago and i'm squeezing my angus right now because i can feel the chits coming lol. So i guess i'll brb.

Am I the only one who thinks it has no effect?

I don't ever drink coffee at all, or take in any real kind of caffeine (no coke or anything, don't even take any pre workout)

I've tried coffee in the past to see if it will give me a boost on days when I'm feeling particularly sluggish and I swear it doesn't do sh*t. I've even bought caffeine pills and tried those but no difference at all. Never really responded to pre-workouts when I try them either.

Am I just non-responsive to caffeine? Is that a real thing even?

Needless to say I see no reason to drink coffee of any kind. Or red bulls for those who are equally addicted to your energy drinks.
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Partially because I'm addicted (headaches), mostly because I want to feel something while I'm in this hamster wheel.

IDK, maybe its the addiction that causes it. I used to get headaches whenever I didn't have my coffee. I stopped drinking coffee all together and I feel like a million bucks every day.

That said, I love the feeling and taste of a black cup every morning. I miss it srs lol

Addiction and the belief more caffeine = better.
The trouble with being punctual is that nobody's there to appreciate it.
