why does everyone drink so much coffee?

What's the benefits of a constant raised cortisol, sloppy chits and disturbed sleeping?

I'm not saying give it up but why does it have to be a everyday thing? who made it a everyday thing? I have like 3 coffees a week.

I only have one on weekend mornings and daily vending machine coffee during the week, which isn't real coffee anyway, just brown flavoured hot water.

Because people like to pretend they are hardcore mofos that drink a lot of coffee, the truth is if you need coffee to function, you need to fix other things in your life to get rid of it, like sleep and diet.

I'm addicted. It keeps me awake at work, which is high stress and long hours.

If I try to give up, it takes about a week for the debilitating headaches to stop. Managed to give up for a year, then had kids. Now back to 3-4 macchiato's a day.

Used to drink 5-6 espressos a day and not even feel it, had to cut back because I started having intense anxiety (coffee wasn’t causing it, just exacerbating), now only drink 1 a day and I start getting hyper and shakey after the 2nd sip lmao

when i drink one green tea i'm already trippin off of the caffeine srs, people drink like 2-3 of coffee a day smh
Does it affect different people differently?

I drink a lot of coffee since we have various coffee makers at work and it's free and delicious. I enjoy the taste of coffee. However when I'm home or over the weekend I have almost none. Once in a while I brew some french press or have 1 k-cup but it's rare. When I'm traveling I also usually don't have a lot of coffee since hotel coffee often sucks balls and I'm not gonno waste time and money going out of my way for a coffee shop.

I feel no different on days that I have coffee versus when I don't (srs). Not sure if people are trolling when they talk about caffeine addiction or how stopping coffee changed their lives. Guess it might be different for some people as they may be more sensitive to it.

Tastes good and gets me moving in the morning plus no-ones going to live forever and if a couple of caffeine hits is your worst vice, lucky you.
