Mind blown that don't people talk about all this stuff before getting married, and especially before having a child.

Heh.

I totally get it opie. I have a 3 year old and 7 year old. Public school system is kind of ****ed, but that's the route we went and I'm sure will go. Liberal as ****, selective teachings, common core, ghey ass policies...just to name a few..but

And a very big but IMO, I feel like public school really helps a kid socially develop. Home school kids (no offense to any here)..but you can usually tell they are or have been home schooled. Many times they lack any social skills what so ever IMO, at least that has been my observation.

So for me...best thing you can do is teach your kid basic fundamentals and let them know everything they see and hear at school isn't necessarily gospel. It's a balancing act for sure, as I'm learning now. I'm sure the 15 or so years I have to put up with it, there will be some battles, haha.

**Edit** do you really not believe in dinosaurs or China though? bruh....bruh? My sister is adopted from China. Parents went there to get her...Maybe they lied and got her from Russia, I have my doubts though.

That's what I thought until I saw the bill for private school.

Move to a nice area, with good schools and upper middle class parents, and take the public school education.

The CEO of the company I work for has his daughters in the same public HS my kids will go to, and they just got 34 and 35 on their ACT's and are trying to decide if they want to go Ivy, or stay local at Northwestern or U of Chicago.

Ask for financial aid, most private schools has enough to help parents. Don't be afraid to ask for it.

But it's very expensive to live in those areas and a great public HS is actually hard to get in....

I don't think we should just trust the public school on all of this stuff. If she wants to teach our son her beliefs, I can teach them mine and they can decide for themselves. But forcing them to hear about that agenda at school doesn't seem fair to me at all.
You're a retard and a weirdo. Even if the teacher is as dumb as you, in school he at least has a chance to pick up a thing or two from the other non-potato people. Hope this helps your decision

I thought my education was pretty sweet

Cant tell if youre here to rustle jim jams. But imma do the same

I think public school early because i think its better socially. Then around middle school go to private school through high school

With much harder education

Maybe switch to..private school (early. For a nice foundation) public school (socially) then back to private school
