Mostly garters and racers in my yard

My first thought exact that someone lost their pet, or set it loose.

Got me all misty-eyed for my childhood pets misc. Lost my last beardie a while back after 12 years (his HBB died 2 years prior). Also lost my Russian tortoise I had from age 7. Feelsbadman but they were great pets. Miring all the herpes in this thread, will eventually get another

Never seen anything like it in the wild, I thought someone's pet got loose at first. Mostly garter snakes in the yard.
Do you still have him in the tank? Try offering him a frozen rodent (thawed obviously). I think he was someone's pet.

He may've run off though, it happens. My russian tortoise Ivan escaped as you recall. How much easier for a snake?

I let him go back in my yard. My main reason for capture was I thought he may not be native to the area or may be poisonous. I hope to see him again, cool creature, very hostile though, kept trying to fight me.

I still have Bentley too. Some pics of the cheeky little bugger as of this morning:

He lives with 2 cory catfish still.

I separated him from the goldfish because the goldfish is getting too huge and producing too much waste for him. So in this tank he'll stay clean. Two cories and him is a much lower bioload.

The Harpactira Pulchripes Tarantula sling that arrived today is in very bad condition which sucks because the vendor I purchase from has been stellar thus far. the back legs look all messed up and the spider is not reacting at all when I tried to gently prod it off the papertowel in to its enclosure. its legs just sort of twitched and nothing.

left it inside enclosure still on paper towel and monitoring it, but nothing going on

emailed the vendor I ordered it from because they have a live arrival gaurentee, and a 7 days gaurentee if the spider arrives in good condition.

fricken sucks because it is on the upper price range as far as Tarantula's go. But I am 100% certain that who I ordered it from will replace it free of charge which is nice

this is the Harpactira Pulchripes when its full grown, 1 of the jewels of the Tarantula keeping hobby

they call it the Golden Blue Legged Baboon

'Round 10 years in captivity. She was not even 2

Thanks my dudes, I think maybe impacted from eating. She ate more than any of my lizards, maybe I allowed her to overeat. Won't happen again.

Overeating bad for all forms of life and animals have little self control so we have to monitor our pet's consumption. My dog is on a diet crew.

Maybe bearded dragons are more my pace as far as pets goes. Had betta fishes. Always felt like I couldn't relate to them cause they are swimming in water. Me and reptiles share that we are both land animals

Which page has good bearded dragon raising tips? My local place sells juvis

Dragons also seem chill and slow, low energy, seem to be content most of the time(at least thats how they look)

Thought about getting a tarantula but I think beardies are a better choice

Someone want to embed for me? I made a new habitat for my bearded dragon. Major size upgrade for him, so I hope he grows larger.

https://imgur.com/gallery/VETINr1
via Imgur for iOS

I framed it out with 2 x 2s, with supports on the bottom. 1/8 sanded playwood around the sides (I will eventually put a desert background in for cosmetics). I did two coats of sealant (non toxic food contact sealant) and put linoleum tiles on the bottom for cleaning. I also finally got a light timer so I don't need to worry about forgetting to turn his lights on and off.

Think he's good to go for now!

They make bigger ones of course, but I rarely use hides in my bearded tanks. Etsy has always tempted me with some good sellers though. They make those ones that double as a hideout and a basking platform. I'm wanting some of those stackable enclosures for my 3 beardeds. But cannot yet. Hoping by Christmas I can afford to put something like that together. It's the dream.

What’s a good budget pair of morphs to do?

Also if you were to start a ball python breeder business what two would you pair up?
