Update on PHD.

She got back with her ex while I was on vacation. LOL!
not that it matters.
Haven't heard from her in two weeks anyway.

I was 95% sure when she went from hot to ice cold overnight it was because of another guy.
I was right.

He dumped her last time so I know he will dump her again eventually so the only question is will she hit me up or not.
Not that it matters because i wouldn't date her.

HELP.

Ok so I was dating a guy and we stopped because I felt that I want something different, he came in our native country and we had a fight because I told him I'm busy with my female friends, this was after my surgery. I told him about this important thing happening in my life (surgery) , he was too busy for me with his business. 10 days post surgery he was in our native country, ''concerned''. We had a fight because he said that we are literally 5 km away and he came to see me and IDGF about him. I wanted him to feel how he made me feel, then I went NC, he blocked me. Yesterday I received a message ''how are you bunny ?'' , ignored, but I was tempted to answer. So this brings me here, the fact that I was tempted to answer.

Does it mean that I want a relationship ? I just realized that I dated him for the attention and the affection that he gave me and I stopped dating him because he gave it too little, he was always busy. I think I need someone, I was happier when I was with him. I am independent and I like doing things by myself, I am a happy girl in general and I have many friends, but I just started to feel this need of getting lots of affection in that way, not sex, but male affection, like hugging and cuddling. It's also because I am in my native country until 2019 and I am away from my mom which is my source of affection. So I started to look at babies on the street and think about how cute they are and having those deeper moments when I have convos with guys on whatsapp about the importance of the family and I don't have anything to do with them, but I keep thinking ''he wouldn't be a good father, he said he's lazy, I won;t date him''. Like what the fuk, is this my biological watch starting ? Like out of nowhere I look at kids and think about who would be a good father and it's crazy. And I am pretty stubborn, ambitious, independent and now I want affection like a cat. It never happened to me before, I was always the ''please leave me alone, I'll come when I feel like''.

Anybody experienced this ? What do I do ? Where do I start ? I had tinder for a few days, deleted it, I'm not about that kind of dating. HELP

how bad is your surgery? will you be on your feet soon?

it honestly sounds like youre lonely and just want some companionship but unfortunately men need to clap some cheeks as a return payment. i think this surgery has you wacked out, like your sense of self worth and independence is shot to chit. heres my advice, weather the storm. recover from your surgery and then start thinking about dating.
be the turtle in the race.

Right. I need the opinion of my fellow misc brahs. Brahettes input is welcome too, and actually might be more insightful in this case.

I work at a University, and a female grad student (from another university) popped into my office the other day enquiring about several things. Whilst I was talking to her I "felt" a connection of sorts, and in our follow up email correspondence I decided to throw caution to the wind and asked her if she wanted to have a drink sometime. The following morning I get her response:

"I am actually seeing someone at the moment. I would like to make more friends in <present location> though (unfortunately many of my friends have left), so if you would like to meet for a coffee, that would be really lovely."

Can those fluent in girl-speak please translate this? Regardless, I'm probably gonna take her up on the coffee offer because frankly i'm a friendless fuk right now and would enjoy any company I can get my hands on.

1. she is not interested in you romantically.

2. she understands the importance of networking and would love to meet with you to discuss things she enquired about earlier.

3. Please do not hit on grad students who email you unless you want to be #MeToo'd

She wants to use you as a new gay best friend, someone to listen to all her problems while that other dude is fuking the chit outta her. I mean do what you want man but honestly why would you want to be friends with a woman who's just gonna be using you? Unless she can help you get a better job then all means make a new associate.

Why friendship? Well, she's smart and hopefully can provide stimulating conversation, and her field of expertise is something I'm looking to move into in the coming years.

Also, my social network is painfully abysmal, so it just makes sense to me to explore any opportunities that come my way. Maybe through her I might meet other people? Fuk knows.

And being a grown ass man, I do try to have an interest in people beyond whether I can get my dick wet.

You should make friends. Don't look it as her using you. Plus networking can be a very good thing especially since you're in grad school. Don't always look at it in a sexual way. It's good to have female friends. Take this as an opportunity to work on your social skills.

I'm notinGrad school. I'm not a student, or a researcher, or anything to do with the academic side. I'm an employee (officecel) doing mundane busy work.

BUT, I'm looking to get back into school with an eye to going to Grad school in the future.

You don't know anything about this woman, but it's interesting how you immediately jump to her using him. He said he could do with some company, so wouldn't he be using her too? Are friends generally using each other?

I've been picking up a trend from your posts, you seem really bitter, selfish and red-pilled.

The only reason she is even entertaining this coffee is because she wants something out of you, and it certainly ain't romance. She may have been giving you vibes when she saw you so that she can get what she wants. Power of the P son. I wouldn't be emailing a date proposal though man, tread carefully with that in 2018. So as to not come off butt hurt, respond back and tell her "Sounds good. My upcoming schedule is very busy we will have to reconnect at another time when I have more free time." Then ghost and tell her you are still busy if she tries to reconnect, she'll get the hint lol. You owe her nothing broseph and you don't need female friends or to verify if she has any single friends (smh).

Yes I am selfish (to a certain degree), yes I am red pilled (to a certain degree) and bitter in terms of what? dating? If that's the case, I wouldn't say I'm bitter, I just tell it like it is. That's a habit of mine that people either hate or appreciate and respect.

So your suggestion is for me to pretend i'm busy, turn down the opportunity, and continue my highly unsocial existence?

What opportunity man? She has friendszoned you before the coffee meeting (note meeting not date) has even occurred. It will only upset you following through with it given you like her and there's no hope. You can discontinue your highly unsocial existence by putting yourself out there and pursuing other women who are interested in you. You on dating sites or anything? Go out, etc? If not, consider it.

AllTrap should go out with the girl and work on his social skills. Regardless if he's friendzone he needs to get out more and socialize with women.

This is how I think now.
I have a few single women friends i'll text here and there and see regularly at group outtings and even bang them occasionally but they don't want to date me or even be FWB's so I see no point in spending time with them alone.
I honestly do have other things i'd rather do.

This advice only works if you don't have a thing for the woman and are not hoping for more.
Otherwise you will just drive yourself insane.

But just going out with women for the sake of going out and becoming more comfortable and less awkward around them is how I got to the point where i'm mostly no longer autistic around them.
I still have my moments here and there but they are few and far between.

Exactly. Most of the posters on this forum needs to be around women more and start treating them like human beings. Hell even the guy that friendzoned me last summer, I still hangout with him in group settings (I refuse to hangout 1x1). I met his GF/fwb's friends and they are awesome to be around. It's good to work on social skills regardless of the setting.

Why does almost every guy just have women in their freinds group that are willing to bang them?

this is acompletely foreign thing to me (srs). every single of my female friends has pretty much made it clear that they have NO desire to bang me/etc. this is across multiple friends groups/etc.

am I seriously that undesirable?

I don't have any female friends, but ye I'd say that's pretty normal. Nitro just seems to hang out with a bunch of nymphos and general trashy women.
