If anything, the popularity of the soundcloud/mumble generation is evidence for gender actually being a social construct. Notice how male rappers have redefined what "male attractiveness" is, and how masculinity has completely gone out the window. Y'all think they pussies, but their bitches clearly don't.

I wouldn't be surprised if the 2020's were the crossdressing era of rap.

rap hip/hop died after about 2005..its trash now..and always will be. Been a fan of rap hip/hop dance etc since i was born..BUT never listen to any of it now..Actually it makes me sick to see the "artists" and just a sick to hear it..

Consumer demand also totally help destroy hip hop, as well as a ton of other music genres. Record industries have little to no leverage when a "rapper" can put out a bunch of iTunes singles and make money quicker than a record company can control the demand and do a major marketing promotion around an album with two hot singles and ten filler songs once every other year (see: Jay Z). Thus you get a market saturated with complete garbage music.

The rock industry suffered the same fate at the end of the 90's, early 2000's.
