All throughout history there have been great men you read about, hear about, that are sang in songs about. However you never hear about women, I'll give you a moment to try to think of a woman who was a huge contributor to history.

Invented electricity? Dude

Other technology advancements? Dudes

Major healthcare advancements? Dudes

Political uprisings, new country formations, revolutions, historical leaders? Dudes

Only through marriage were the women of these famous men able to cement there place in history alongside them. But i'll give you a second moment to see if you can recall the name of George Washington's s wife.....You cant.

Women are valuable: Just they are valuable in the moment, the present when they are youthful and beautiful, while men are valuable even in death, they are valuable to history and to teach us for generations.

psychologists have a practice, not a firm. and a PsyD or Masters isnt chit compared to an M.D.

Women are the selectors (not 100% sure why here but 9 months pregnancy makes sense)

So, i wouldnt even say its a desire; more a necessity; its the selection process females use to analyze the best genes

I know landscape contractors who clear 200K mowing lawns and clearing snow


learn how to run a skid steer keep basic diesel engines and hydraulic systems running and you could be a ****ing millionaire with some sales skill and commitment to actually doing a good job.

It wasn't until 50ish years ago that women were ALLOWED the ability to explore life beyond being a wife and mother. Hell, women weren't even legally allowed to apply for their own credit card until the mid-70's. If there's one thing that's been holding women back from making a stamp on history - its been the men that have been running the world since the dawn of time. As a woman, it's an exciting time to be alive. My mother didn't have the opportunity or social acceptance to follow her dreams, and neither did my grandmothers - that I get to do it, is a huge source of pride for her.

But to OP - without women, we wouldn't have kevlar, solar energy, computer software, among other things. Don't act like there haven't been contributions from women in the tech field.

Perhaps in the past, but you do see gradual shift in this where more successful women are increasing overtime because they are given more freedom that they were denied back then. Few did make discoveries despite the lack of freedom they had for example Ada Lovelace who I came across in my computer science class who was the first to write a computer program in 1800s. For one of my art studies in uni i learned that a few women(eg. Mary Anning) in the last centuries who made discoveries in science were not allowed to take credit simply because they're women so you may not have of them but that had changed. For someone in our time the first that came to my head would be JK Rowling. I believe her work will be carried on through many generations. Not wanting to offend but based on this trend i dont think your views would stand for very long in the future.

The OP was in reference to women who were huge contributors to history. What does the manner in which they were born have to do with it? They can't contribute to history because they were born into a royal family? You don't care for Abigail Adams' looks so she's unimportant? Wasn't Sacajawea captured by another tribe as a child and raised by them? Does that make her a traitor? Regardless she provided aid to the Lewis and Clark expedition at a major moment in US history. And I expect the French may disagree that Joan of Arc is only a video game character.
