Thinking about trying a Carnivore diet (Meat only), anyone else down to try? (SRS)

Hey brahs, I've been hearing nothing but good things from people that have gone on a meat only/red meat only diet and my mind was blown that bloodwork is coming back great for them also. I'm going to try for energy increased and inflammation reduction. This video awared me on it, but doing a lot of further research everyone that has tried it has nothing but good things to say about it. Any other brahs wanna get in on it?

One could argue it's placebo but, there isn't even really any people spouting broscience for it because scientifically it doesn't even make sense. People have just tried it expecting terrible results and were surprised as fuk when it made them feel amazing.

Not sure if you're srs or trolling but if srs, great brah we can log the effects we will in here.

People reported bowel issues for first 1-3 weeks then it gets perfect, and people with bad bowel issues and previous gastrointestinal problems reported their problems going away. There is suspicion that even plants (fiber) cause negative inflammation in the body.

From what we have been taught up until this point, this makes no sense.

I've always had frequent sore/inflamed feeling joints, it was pretty manageable when I was just lifting/powerlifting but I do a fuk load of mma/bjj now and it's pretty much chronic. Also random periods with very poor energy (always figured it was because soreness). Worth a shot, I have nothing to lose because I fukin love steak anyway. I'm gonna give it a solid 2 month shot, and will get bloodwork at 2 month mark. I'm not gonna supplement with anything

I'm just gonna watch how this one plays out over the next few years.

It's no different to raw vegan imo, just another extreme. Read through forums/websites of those who've switched to a raw plant based diet, and you'll notice all the same claims that are made on a plant based diet are made on a carnivore diet too.

It's already just as cultish as raw vegan too. Plants = toxic/poison. Meat = murder/rape. You are killing yourself if you eat plants. You are killing yourself if you eat meat. You are brainwashed by the vegan industry. You are brainwashed by the meat industry. Same propaganda bs.

Any research is cherry picked and blown out of context too, grey areas and counter arguments glossed over or attacked with crazy theories or insults.

It's all to similar right now.

The problem is the carnivorists have only just started building their army, the raw vegans have already built theirs and now we're starting to hear some of the negative sides of that life and see the detrimental effects of it from their dropouts or those in extreme denial. This is not the case with the carnivore diet yet..

With all that said, i'm really interested to see how it all plays out. I've heard some really interesting things, and it does blow my mind that some extremists are eating old ass rotten meat and not getting sick from it.. (yet?)

See I agree with this but when I think about it myself (just my own thoughts, not even sure if it fully makes sense), I think that we originally were on a meat/fish only diet because hunting was the first and most primitive form of food gathering for us. We later started collecting plants/fruits to eat, then even later started growing our own in mass quantities to create a large source of reliable food. This was essential for our massive population increase, and is very convenient because many plants can be kept for much longer periods of time than meat without spoiling. So it was good for long war marches, etc...Just maybe though despite us being able to tolerate many of the things we eat extremely well, it may be ever so slightly toxic to us. Also Protein and fat are the only actual essential macros for life, without either our bodies would cease to function. Red meat and fish hit both of these perfectly.

Again this may be 100% wrong and ridiculous, and this may be a terrible idea. Just gonna give it a shot and see what's good after a few months.

Sounds super unnecessary tbh. I don't see how this could benefit you at all over a balanced diet. Like how would veggies harm you?

But still try it and see what happens.
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

As far as I know it is all anecdotal so far. It will be interesting to see when and if any solid data is published. I found a study a couple weeks ago from 1930 were two men ate nothing but animal protein for a year. If my memory serves me correctly, it concluded with no vitamin or mineral deficiencies. This kind of stuff always peaks my interests.

I agree. Only reason I'm trying is to see if it will help with almost chronic joint soreness. Fully expecting it to not do chit, just nothing to lose so fuk it.

Getting pretty much all of my meat from hunting deer/elk brah. I feel you though, but to also be fair most of the vegetables we buy have spent most of their time literally dusted in poison growing from soil dusted in poison so same argument could be said for only eating your home grown veggies/fruit.

Some people who have been on a meat only diet for months have been getting their poo tested and the intestinal flora are doing exceptional, which again doesn't fully make sense.

Makes some sense brah.

I definitely avoid some fruits/veggies/beans/nuts/seeds and all grains(they have a toxic effect on me except white rice in small quantities)

I don't believe all the fruits and veggies available to us are meant for us either, and I think we've forgotten the fact that we're not the only things on this planet that eat. More research is needed in this area too.

One of the things I question is how our bodies have evolved since those times of just eating animal flesh.. Have we evolved to not need, but to benefit from both meat and plants, and are we devolving by eating only meat, or only plants.. I don't know.

GL though man, will you log it somewhere?
