I don't believe all the fruits and veggies available to us are meant for us either, and I think we've forgotten the fact that we're not the only things on this planet that eat. More research is needed in this area too.
One of the things I question is how our bodies have evolved since those times of just eating animal flesh.. Have we evolved to not need, but to benefit from both meat and plants, and are we devolving by eating only meat, or only plants.. I don't know.
GL though man, will you log it somewhere?

It won't work better than any other diet that meets your micro and macro requirements. With that said, eating only meat with no fiber is a mistake you'll only make once. Your butt hole being stretched to 3 times it's normal size is a feeling you will remember forever.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Are you gonna log it somewhere on the forum? If so I want to check it out and see the results, as well as your day to day feelings on it - especially for the first few weeks. I am really interested in how it turns out for you. Might be something I give a try.
I cut out gluten about 5 months ago and have had some amazing results. Used to think people who only ate gluten free food were on that ****gytime, and maybe they are, but I have had multiple issues clear up because I stopped eating it. Even if its placebo, I'm pleased with the results.
I'm always amazed by diets. "Experts" come around every so often and tell you that a carb heavy diet is great, then we find out carbs suck and we have to go paleo, no wait, high fat zero carb and high protein. It blows my mind how we flip flop on this stuff. And then some people think it's all about the macros in versus macros out. Jesus. Lord knows fifty years from now everyone is going to have some kind of cancer from all the **** we put in our bodies.
Anyways, lemme know how it works!

Maybe it's already been answered but what do you plan on eating mostly? High quality cuts can get expensive.
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

Eskimos used to eat like this so I'm sure it's possible. I also doubt it's ideal.

Workmate just started this as well to see if it helps solve some digestive issues he's been having for the best part of 12 months. Sounds like snake oil to me, I don't see how any diet that limits your nutrional intake to one specific type of food could be healthy long-term. Sure this isn't just marketing bs being pushed by farmers to increase the sale of beef?

I'd consider it if I had severe chronic disease that might benefit. I think, on the other hand, if you're just looking to maximize health and you don't have any health issues then something like whole30 is probably the way to go. Just remove all the key players in terms of dietary intolerance (Grains, Legumes, Dairy, Trans fats, processed sugar) and you'll get equal results I suspect.
I'd hypothesize that the carnivore diet is just an extreme elimination diet. I don't think the meat has anything to do with it, more likely just cutting out something they're intolerant too.
This is the best resource I've seen on the topic, there is some interesting ideas behind the diet

Don't be silly, OP.
You will end up with a lower body weight for sure due to less calories. Also, you will not get enough nutrition just through meats. Ever heard of a balanced diet? Never go for full meats, vegetarian, etc... these were designed by the respective industries to promote themselves and fatten their wallets.
I did Atkins for a while, lost plenty of weight... however, became very depressed and more prone to binging. Your skin will probably get worse and you may experience hair loss and slower nail growth. Not sure what damage a meat only diet does to your insides, but I'm betting if your skin, hair and nails aren't as healthy as before such a diet, your insides must be fairing worse.
