Damn sorry to hear about that bro, hope you're doing better.

Lifestyle costs increase with higher income, this applies to the places you live, hobbies, children, etc. No matter what you make the facts are you are going to have more discretionary income without kids than with kids.
Sorry but education expenses are for tax write offs for those of us with too much $$. And besides paying 20k a year for school and buying things like 17k swing sets for the back yard there’s nothing else to much more pricey for raising kids then what normal people do.

Uh huh. IDGAF if you or anyone else has kids, but if I hear a guy randomly shouting "I don't want to suck cock; believe me, I don't; I'm so happy with my dog," I'm going to assume that the guy really wants to suck cock but feels somehow constrained. The same applies to you. Given this thread, I assume you want kids. I also assume that you want to suck cock.

No it's called being in a relationship with someone else that has similar goals and desires. Just lol at you simpletons that can't fathom that not everyone wants a financial vampire.

Not considering or not caring what happens to the people around you, or what happens after you die, spiritually or to society in general, is literally the definition of being small-minded.

You can't (or don't care to) see the bigger picture, and only care about yourself. Congrats, I guess?

Not being so much of an egomaniac as to want to try and find a way to have some sort of lasting legacy is different than not caring about anyone.

Who says I can't fathom it? I've specifically acknowledged that some people legitimately don't want kids. But those people don't make cope threads. Sorry, m8. FWIW, I actually do think that you would be a terrible father and your kids would be a net negative, so I support your delusions and coping. I'm just observing an obvious truth.

It's actually your biological imperative to make kids, whether you do or not. You are literally designed to want it, nothing egotistical about it at all.

And I'm pretty sure you literally said ITT that you only care about your own well being and the only purpose in your life is to maximize your own happiness. Where does caring about someone else fit in to your statement?

If we were animals sure, our goal would be just to fuk and reproduce. But we have society and desires beyond that.

And caring about other people and their well being is something that contributes to your happiness in the present. But I have no desire to try and cope with the fact that I will die by trying to create a legacy to somehow live on through. LOL
