This is the attitude of a man who subconsciously knows his genes are inferior and so avoids passing them on, but justifies it with his nihilistic and hedonistic attitude towards life. Thank you OP for not polluting the gene pool with your disgusting manlet genes, the human race is grateful.

Just the five head alone would be very disappointing. Throw in the fact he makes more money than anyone itt and does it by G4P would put any parent on suicide watch.

Actually it's an interesting point you make here.

Men who never have kids might as well just be a woman with a strap on dick.

For the people 100% against having kids I'm curious what your relationship is with your dad. Do you not enjoy doing things with him? Having a son you can enjoy your hobbys with seems like the goat.

Having kids is fine if one can honestly say they will add fulfillment and enjoyment to your life over and above what a childless lifestyle can offer.

The vast majority of people, however, have children because they have succumbed to their most primal instincts and extol the virtues of parenthood because they can't cope with what is truly making them unhappy.

Tommorow morning when you are on your way to work and at work, take a look around. So many people are truly miserable working a 9-5 job only to come home to parental responsibilities (school pick-up, sports training, dinner prep, general parenting). Boom there is your day gone.

You have an infinitely fleeting existance in the endlessness that is time and space, if you are childless and content, why even waste a minute of that being unfilled let alone committing to long-term unhappiness?

It is great. My son loves to do everything I do and wants to do help me with everything. Yard work and stuff.

When I mow the lawn he runs and grabs his bubble lawn mower and he follows me LOL hes only 2.5 years old.

Is OP even wealthy, or is he just upper middle class? Most parents are chitty parents that just circle jerk about how great of parents they are, when in reality, they are terrible. Brb, having a kid and just throwing them in daycare for 8+ hours a day because I love them so much

Right. Because parents just love the idea if dropping $1000/month on daycare when they could just keep the kid at home. Besides kids learn to interact with other kids in daycare.

So weird that people hate on day care. I'm going to do my best to avoid it, but there's nothing wrong with it especially if it's not 5-days a week.

edit:

Also I don't know that I'd even call OP upper middle class. He has a 6-figure job at 30 years old. But some consider 100K+ household income to be upper middle class, so hey.

Men who don’t want kids lack leadership qualities. Subconsciously they know they are not worthy of leading and mentoring, but consciously cope by saying they wanna moneymax, lifestylemax, etc. Great men want to lead, raising children is a biological extension of leading, but most men - like most women in the West in the 21st century - are not great and have succumb to too many vices.

Another factor is a lack of a quality female in their life that is marriageable and worthy of being a mother. It’s a shot to the ego to admit one can’t attract a women that meets these qualities, so the coping mechanism goes “LOL, I just wanna smash, I ain’t looking to commit”

I’m summary:
NOT wanting children and NOT wanting a committed partner are ALL coping mechanisms.

I listen to kids bitching and moaning to their parents in public then remember how that'll never be me. Feels good to know what I want and definitely don't want in this life. Never had a desire to get married, have kids or even a gay white fenced in house.

I believe this. Different maybe if you tried it and it didn't work out vs. never tried because you might fail.

Do you know what kind of people are more broke in old age than divorced people? People that never married.

If the only place you can be a leader is within the walls of your own home, you are not a leader. You are someone who wants to feel like a leader, and play a leader, but the only person (people) who respects you is your children (probably not even your wife). LOL at making it about leadership.

Pls respond. You got married on top of a high-rise building in Oklahoma right OP? What happened? Either your wife is a defective woman who doesn't want children either, or she does and decided they'd be better off growing to over 5'4" so she left.

Only if you're already a generally happy person. If you're a miserable fuk it just makes you a miserable fuk with a bit of cash.

I also make a decent income, but I spend probably less than 30% of it, with the rest going to taxes and savings. I notice I'm happier now than when I was spending more a couple years ago. Lastly, money doesn't buy freedom, being debt free does.
