The irony of it is even most of the no kids crew will end up having kids at 38-42.

While most of us will be preparing or enjoying retirement at 55 they will be the grey haired parents at the little league games.

I've seen it too many times to count. Most of you guys will end up having kids.

Will take advice from outlier miscers over 1.7million people polled across the entire planet.

Nothing about these studies imply there is no drive to make more currency, or that being wealthier has no specific advantages. Just says a lot about how making above these caps per demographic/area re-levels perceived happiness to similar levels as lifestyle expenditure goes up with increased earnings, on average.

Only idiots and those that cannot effectively contracept have tons of kids, while smarter and more educated people that have kids tend to have a more appropriate number, say less than 3. IQ and education do not effect how much you WANT children. It affects how good you are at making decisions around having kids. Not to mention getting educated and having a career take significant time out of the baby making years.

This tbh. And believe me I'd love for my wife to get to stay home for 3 months paid after we have our baby. But I recognize it's hardly fair.

I don't know where you're from but here paid paternity leave is at least 1 year, it might be even longer now. And yes I agree that newborns aren't learning to interact with other kids at that age.

As for working mothers "dumping" their kids off at daycare, do you have an alternative? Should they just quit a job that they may have been working at for 10+ years if they need the income?

I don't believe in employers or the government subsidizing parenting. Instead, people who want to raise children should plan accordingly and live off one income or find alternative ways for the wife to generate income without the constraints of a 9-5 job.

Well this would leave only people who are wealthy enough to live off the man's income alone and welfare parasites with the ability to have kids without ending up in financial ruin. Personally, I don't think that's great for society as a whole.
