Yeah, but, over $40 for a water container + shipping. The Aquatainers have been solid for, like I said, up to 13 years and counting for me, and cost much less than that. This is just home storage here, not mounting them to or in my mog for a trip through the Sahara.

I have a 20L Scepter water container in my car. It's been there for...****...a decade? I don't even know. Should probably rotate the water actually, I think it's a couple years old now. There's a lifestraw in my car somewhere too...I think...

I retried my Scepter MFC's (lol) after about a decade. They were way too ****ing hard to open after tightening down to where they probably wouldn't (but still would) leak if tipped over, and the special spout for them always leaked too when rotating the gas.

The only place I'd feel comfortable going to go again is Turkey and that's because I'm familiarized with the areas and the people don't look at you like an Allah Akbar as much

- customer gets some slide work done from us and buys an RMR from us with it
- several hundred rounds in the dot fails
- he emails asking what he should do
- i tell him to contact Trijicon (the ****ing manufacturer of the optic) to have them take a look at it
- he tells me we should overnight him a brand new one and take his back and handle the warranty work for him
- i think that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard as literally no reseller under the sun handles warranty work like that for items they don't manufacturer themselves such as optics...but anyway, I tell him we can't swap it because we're out of stock and have more due in in about a week but I would swap it when we have more
- he says he's "done" with us and will just go through Trijicon like I told him to do in the first place.


Lmao wot. I don't care where you buy an optic from. If it breaks/fails/whatever, that warranty work always goes directly through the manufacturer. This is industry standard for pretty much anything whether it's guns, optics, night vision, you name it.

We try to meet any demands we can in situations like this. Even when they're absolutely retarded and no one else in the industry would do it. But god damn man you can only do so much for some of these people.

Not to mention our returns page specifically says that any optic warranty issues gets handled directly through the manufacturer...

Oh dude, we get stuff like that all the time. People buying incorrect thread sizes and telling us our comp is "out of spec", people stripping optic screws and wanting us to drill the screws out for free...then come to find out they're using metric allen wrenches to try to remove standard screws. List goes onnnnn and onnnnnn. The absolute first conclusion anyone jumps to is you, as the seller, messed up somewhere. They never make the mistake. And they're certainly no going to own up to it. Working directly with end users is ****ing hard.
