It's would be disappointing in one aspect because Cavill was a great Superman/Clark Kent, but a good thing as well because their whole DC universe needs to be rebooted, and you really need to sweep everything from the old universe clean to do that.

I stand corrected, thank you. It's hard to keep track of all the multiverses and timelines with both Marvel and DC, especially when they do "reboots" every decade or so. If they're doing that Superman, I wonder how it's going to fit in with the current Justice League and the lore.
