So, Manafort is a plant by the people trying to topple Trump. Meaning, that he is a criminal coconspirator, in this super secret Muller/Trump investigation. However, Manafort and Trump have a cooperation agreement, meaning that they share legal information between each other. If this is a true criminal probe, then this would gross legal malpractice. Unless you claim that Manafort works for Trump and he's the inside man, which in this case, Manafort lost $45 million in assets and property, and he's now an unreliable witness. Which, means that his presence in this investigation is, really, just completely meaningless.

Specifically leaking information I believe, from that January 6th meeting where they briefed President Trump, then President-elect Trump on the dossier. Someone at CNN got information. We think it was Mr. Clapper who gave it to them. And then a few days later Buzzfeed prints the entire dossier.

The real concern here is what the FBI did. What the top people did,” Jordan concluded. “They took an opposition research document and dressed it all up, made it look like legit intelligence and took it to the FISA court to get a warrant to spy on a fellow American citizen. And the guy who leaked information about that dossier is James Clapper.

The existence of the dossier was known in political/media circles well before the January 6th meeting. ("Mother Jones" had a copy of it as early as October 2016. John McCain got a copy of it a couple months later, and turned it over to the FBI.)

The whole reason Trump was briefed on the existence of the dossier in that meeting was specifically to tell him "Sir, we've become aware that this information is out there, and we want you to know about it because there's no way it's going to stay a secret forever."

TL;DR - an unclassified document originating outside the government, that had been circulating for months ahead of January 6th finally made it to the public. But, yeah, it must have been Clapper who "leaked" it.

The reason Rogers bypassed his chain of command and went straight to Trump was because he caught the illegal surveillance of the trump campaign. First by FBI contractors abusing the FISA search database (85% illegal searches), later through the fisa bull**** and peripheral spies. Coincidence that Trump moves his meetings out of Trump tower the day after? Coincidence that the IC heads were flipping their lid over the meeting and threating to fire Rogers?

We all know the answer.

The arguments become frustrating because you can literally post fact after fact, with actual evidence (emails, texts, timeline, underlying motivations), how this is supported by all of the people involved being named and stripped of power... yet the goalposts move to "ya, that is incredibly damning and I have absolutely no way to rationalize that so... where are the indictments???!!!).

The people who want Trump to go down for collusion can only dream of ever having the amount of evidence that is currently available for corruption in the FBI and DOJ leading to illegal surveillance of team Trump.

I am just frustrated how it finally hit the news that FISA is be declassified(last week)which is progress. But it never came. We've been waiting since July!
