Im just confused by the culture because the one I grew up in was more matured and complex.

Yeah I post to get a response so I can then better form my thoughts and feelings.

Kk so I’m totally cool with people doing their own thing. I don’t take it personally. I don’t have to surround myself with these people if I don’t want too.

What bothers me, and what I think bothers the people of Twitter is that someone with this much reach isn’t take part of a “real” relationship. When we are telling each other about drake and his 18 year old we are telling each other a story. And the story says that someone at the top of the culture is allowed to talk to someone clearly much younger than him. Someone that much younger doesn’t make as good of a judge for the relationship but he’s going with it anyway making him a tyrant. The story of it being okay to be a tyrant isn’t very deep or true compared to the Jewish or Christian stories that we are use to hearing. Because it’s a ****ty story, no one wants to hear it. It’s a problem because those without cultured/religious backgrounds, will start to think there is no difference between dating someone your age or much younger. We lose a sense of direction. People grow up without good stories. We get a society of people not having rules that make their lives productive and meaningful. And then have fun when your society is not productive and nihilistic.

It’s not these select people I care about. They’re at the top of something greater than themselves and should know better. Them not knowing better is a red flag that maybe they shouldn’t be at the top of society.
