I need to rant about work.

so every single time(and I'm not exaggerating) someone wants something from me they need it "ASAP". they always expect me to drop what I'm doing and if I'm on the phone or working on something they will just walk into my office and stand there until I'm finished. hell this one broad came into my office when I was out(I saw her when I came back around the corner), left and came back 5 min later needing something right now and of course she stood there while I worked on it.

but when I need something....(and it's usually so I can complete something for their project) it's crickets. I can be asking for details on their order so that I can actually get what they need because, of course they gave me incomplete info and I can't get them to tell me. then when their stuff doesn't show up they start crying about how they need it ASAP.

I don't know what it is. hell maybe it's me but I can't get anyone to listen to a damned thing I say unless I finally get mad. I have to start screaming and yelling to get what I want out of people and more often than not it's to help the crying people annoying me. and as you can imagine folks get all bent out of shape when I've finally had enough.

I feel your pain. I think this is how life is across the board. I have to turn into a fukkin lunatic at home to get anyone to listen or do what I ask and then everyone thinks I’m a psycho bish.

Same **** with my employees. I’m clear about what I expect and have a few things that I WILL NOT compromise on but otherwise I’m fairly easy to please. But every once in a while I have to lose it on them for them to remember that I will flip out if they don’t follow the rules or do what I ask.

So funny story, not haha, I walked into the house today after work, sneezed and heard/felt something pop really loud in my back and then I fell and landed pretty hard and couldn't feel my legs for a few seconds. I felt like an IRL Life Alert commercial... Only it was internal dialogue. And I didn't call for help bc I am alone. I know I've done well in the gym bc I was able to pull myself to a bed and heave myself onto it. Lawd. Changing insurance in 2 weeks and then I can go to the doctor. All of my in network stuff changes. Lesigh. fuk.

Gimme the chemicals, I guess. I'll take anything at this point.

Yeah that sucks. One of my buddies had his spine do an accordion type motion and two vertebrae expanded temporarily and closed on a nerve. It only lasted a few hours but said the pain was unbearable.



Ended up having a chat with the guy from last week about the part time job. He and his business partner basically buy and resell junk and worked their way up to the industrial level. Got a sophisticated sheister vibe. Now have a phone interview to be a part time instructor for an online course at an ivy league school with zero programming experience. We'll see how that goes.
