I don't have any other social media so dunno about IG, but ******** is cancer too.

Besides the mod's point of the fact its mainly used for validation, I've not seen anyone mention the dopamine response to push notifications (Ie. likes, thumbs up, or whatever the icon de jour is)

Its effectively like smoking dope from the time you have your first cell phone. Terrible for the mind and soul. If you let your kids use it before they're 18, good luck getting them unhooked.

So not going to answer the question huh? Like I stated previously, I only have a select amount of non personal interest based people linked to IG. I need randoms or people I don't actually communicate with seeing what I'm up to. So yes, for the most part, it is friends and family. Sometimes those personal interested based accounts give a follow back, but no clue if they actually see my posts or give a chit.

you know what rustled me about IG, it's not even the vapid sloots, but the art section if it is PLAGUED by guys with a huge following always making the same drawings of female super heroines / animes while doing 1 guy per 50 females, all showing gratuitous nudity of course, catering to the hormonal teenagers / numales in their 20s / 30s when far superior artists only have like 10k followers, fkn lol.
