he is/was a physique competitor (moving to classic was his goal before the olympia but now him and his coach seem unclear if they are staying that route).

Physique competitors are masters at looking huge and jacked, but when they arent 4% bf and are in the offseason, they are far smaller than you would think. When i met him at my competition I was insanely lean, probably 5%(was by far the most conditioned out of i think 300 male competitors) and in the pic I took with him I was quite a bit larger than him, and I am a very large guy and he is a very aesthetic and advanced person but he is by no means a monster in person, and standing next to frank mcgrath he would look very small.

I actually was just using it to describe his size in person and using it for relativity because a person who is 10% bf standing next to someone who is 5% bf will be much larger in overall size, but the more lean guy can look bigger with his shirt off due to his conditioning and overall muscle mass. I was also responding to someone saying he is a monster and saying he is by far, not a monster, in person. I am actually not very conceited at all and I know my place when it comes to fitness, but I also know where years of knowledgeable, consistent, and hard training has gotten me.
