I understand the points you are making in this thread but the issue is that they are ultimately based on assumptions of the personalities and power dynamics involved. Really you have absolutely no idea of the compatibility of the couple's personalities, her maturity (and his immaturity) and their influence on each other. And on your point that he should find someone who helps "him grow as a person" - how do you know that she does not? You have no idea what she is like as a person and what she brings to the table in the relationship.

Nope. Just talked to some chicks that were either younger than me or way more uncultured/immature and was going crazy because they met all my criteria but I felt alone. I was always right and they wouldn't be able to challenge whether what I thought did was right/wrong. I have smart friends and we can use each other to think through ideas but I need a smart chick that can help me work through life more. inb4 why do you need a chick to do that. Guys are too stubborn. but she IS 18. The brain of an 18 year old isnt fully developed. She DOESNT have as much life experience as him. In college we use to study highschool kids. Judge the way they formed sentences, asked them about the future. They never really cared about anything more than 2-3 months out. The future wasnt ever "real" for them. They only "cared" about it because of outside influence. There was a huge varience among teenagers but thats usually where they topped out at. The front of her brain isn't fully formed yet. She still thinks like a kid.

That plus my own experience with younger chicks and dumber chicks.

Im totally cool with everyone knowing its just an assumption. Im just giving my two cents and willing to argue im more likely right with their relationship, and 100% right on the moral argument.

I think casual sex is a waste of time. Im half trolling when I talk about it. Long convo, but cliffs are I can see the purpose of long-term relationships but not short term.
