How much can your gf bench?

???


Had her bench yesterday for the first time, did a clean set of 8 with 65 lbs paused. She plays varsity hockey so she does a lot of sprints/rows, but I wanna get her into weightlifting

I think that sounds pretty good for a first time trying. No girlfriend and I don't know what I can bench. Haven't tried it because afraid of re-injuring my shoulder. Maybe one day I'll try just to see what I can do.

Sounds like a good start for sure! Wish I could remember what I used to bench. I never really went for PR's back then though. Always went more for reps.

I can honestly say i don't think she has ever benched. She couldnt believe I go at 5am. Shes not out of shape, she doesnt really even run. Its fine, cause I am really into her, but I think she was intimidated with how I changed my life style etc and lost weight, got into shape, so it took me being sensitive and understanding of that, before we started dating.

Wife benched 132lbs (60kg) in comp at 57kg bw. Prouder however, that she squatted 292 lbs (132.5 kg) at the same meet.



Also, looking back at the video, she got a lift off from the IPF 57kg world champion Jennifer Millican lol...

My woman can bench 155 for 10 at her best (at 5'10" 145). She is pretty much a bad ass.
