So definitely on the upper end of the range (I'm at 809), but apparently 20% of Americans have over an 800 credit score. Apparently the credit situation isn't as bad as I would have thought it was.

The last I looked at it, there was a bit of a move by lenders away from relying so heavily on credit score, driven in large part by millennials that don't build much credit history.

Couple friends of mine were around 450-500 just a few years ago because they stopped paying car loans and let them get repoed and had chit credit in general anyways. They were both pretty happy that their scores are up into the 600s now and they're both mid 30's. When I picked up my new vehicle a few weeks ago, mine was 805. Only carry a balance on one card and it's far lower than my total available credit.

Just got home to the woman freaking out over another shooting involved in our circle of friends. One shot to the chest got it done. Won't give details just yet until a prosecutorial decision has been made. Shooter walked, cops considered it a good shoot.

I saw that headline "Gunman Remains Free" and considered asking the piece of sh!t reporter if he ever heard of self defense or defense of others. The entire incident was clearly caught on multiple surveillance cameras, and the police on the scene saw a clear-cut case of self defense/defense of others. Which is why they didn't arrest him.
