Waiting at the tire shop to get the snow tires put on the Escape that the kids drive. That’s always a fun time. Got about 90 mins to kill.

Geez it's not even October

Back in northern Indiana with the Z28 I did the snow tire switch over Thanksgiving break/spring break

Once you hit Sept out here it can snow anytime. Usually it’s not until later in Oct. But when you get closer or get that first snow, the tire shops are a freaking nightmare. It’s like grocery stores with snow coming. So I like to knock it out a little early to avoid the crush and just to have it done.

Edit: since I sat down there have literally been 10 people who have come in to buy snow tires. Wait time is now 2 - 3 hours for them.

If you live in that type of area, the best thing to do is to buy specific snow tires and a set of cheap steel rims. That way you can just change them at home every year

for the next 2 weeks, we've gotten free tix to the local college football team games from a couple different friends of ours - both conference match ups and big games

that's how I like to attend football games; still will wind up spending prob $50 on parking/concessions but I'm at the point in my life, I'd rather pay to park than walk 2 miles or more

Do wonder why they spent the money for 4WD. Maybe those expensive ridiculous tires are terrible in the rain so they want 4WD? lolIDK
