On the other hand, being in IT, I am highly suspect on the interworkings of IPAWS (integrated public alert and warning system). From the site, it's "a centralized internet-based system administered by FEMA". Sooo, this system is on the internet and how else does this hook into our devices? What all access does this have? What if IPAWS gets compromised.
