Didn’t come out of nowhere. These are typical this time of year.

And it’s heading right for me.

It's the end of the season and the depression just formed overnight.

I think this will be more than a CAT 1 as its expected to strengthen very quickly over the next couple of days.

Some new models put it as a cat 2/3. Just continue to monitor it today and tomorrow.

They’ve been tracking this disturbance for a week. It was expected.

It's not even a hurricane, it's a tropical storm for now. It will build up more over the seas but it's just not conducive enough for a cat 3+.

yea, the disturbance has been out there for a while but it had like a 0-10% chance of formation. Strong predictions as usual because now its a Tropical storm.

Watching it closely but not anticipating too much of an impact

National Weather Service. They only issue advisories when an invest forms. This has been on the radar for a week. They predicted this. It’s no surprise.

It’s always low at first. They give the development chances at 2 and 5 days. Of course the chances increase as time goes on.

Hate to see it is going to eventually be a large rainmaker in SC. They have had to much flooding there of late.

Two updates in the past few hours:

1. The storm is exploding on the radar. Most models are now calling for a Cat 2 or 3 hurricane.

3. The track has shifted east since the morning directly towards north west florida.
