So many dumb people ITT , lmao

Exhaust adds performance to the vehicle and is a relatively cheap mod. On the right car, it gives an improved sound.

So:

cheap price + increased performance + improved sound = you're a moran

did it get through or does someone need to explain further?

a nice exhaust could be a nice touch.

Maseratti exhausts sound amazing.

Could give two chits about cars tho really.

Lmao if anything, exhaust mods improve reliability, not detract from it.

I prefer driving behind lowered cars because it means any debris their tire kicks up will hit their wheelwell vs my front bumper

Yup, I've got my whole system done, headers all the way back.

Was more or less joking about the lowered cars to prove a point.

Having a project weekend / track / show car makes sense. Doing this kind of stuff to a daily driver is a bit silly IMO

Even exotics and supercars, I don't think I'd buy one without intending to use it on the track a lot. Picking up a lambo or Ferrari to putz around the city just lmao

Did I say I like slammed cars? I said moderately lowered! Ya know like 1.2"!

I never said exhaust affects engine reliability. I said I don't like messing with engines.

Fair enough, dont see why you brought up engine tinkering in an exhaust-related argument.

Also, if (im assuming) you are buying wheels and coilovers, you are probably putting them on a sporty car, which is already low. So lowering an already low car 1.2" is gonna make driving public roads more precarious, especially on Chiraq roads. So dont try and tell me extra caution isnt needed when your driving around on a set up like that.

ITT there's two type of people:

Car ENTHUSIASTS:
-Meaning people who want more out of a ride rather than point A to point B.

Car consumer:
-People who just want their chit to work.

I definitely love all kinds of cars. Fukkin big ass diesel trucks with smoke stacks. Fukkin muscle cars, pops has a 65 stang (not fastbak though), tuners (skyline/GTR/RX8/STi/EVO), Dat european luxury (R8, M5) fukkin jagssss look and sound sick as fuuuukk, exotics lambos, mcclaren, ferrari, al hngggggggg. Alfa came back to town. God my dream job would be a car journalists/TV show people like top gear.

But aye man if you want to play video games rather than drive sweet rides IRL thats all you boyos.

Not in this case its not. Even a cat back in most cases isn't going to yield anything worth noting.

A blanket statement like "exhaust adds performance" is simply inaccurate at best

I've got a 300C SRT-8 with full Magnaflow exhaust (among other mods). It's not my daily driver, I'd go broke on gas driving it everywhere all the time. My daily driver is a Ram, full stock, not even an aftermarket radio.

Cars are like any other hobby, some people are passionate, while others think WTF. Big difference, a car is a tool that most people own, just some people see them as much more than a tool. Kinda like PCs, I see them as a tool, but not as a hobby.

Different strokes for different folks.
