Guy looks like a grade-A moron but if game hunting is how you pay to keep poachers away, I'm all for it. Better to have one grinning twat gun down a few large animals every year and make idiotic ******** posts about it, than have the Chinese pay poachers to kill every last animal in the country and butcher them for penis powders.

for various reasons sometimes rangers determine some animals need to die to help the species. Instead of just killing them they sell the opportunity to big game hunters, therefore making money to further the preservation efforts.

Actually, money that rich white people pay to do trophy hunting is keeping lots of those wildlife reservoirs functioning and in turn save lots of aminals

I hope one had aids and their blood mixes with his or he eats the under cooked meat

You can help conserve and protect animals with out shooting them

Think about if it was humans, brb we killed your m8 and your mom and sister because we are helping maintain the general population while protecting your environment

Then again I don’t think any animal should die for food, and haven’t eaten meat myself in 19 years. And if the people can’t afford to live then maybe there is too many of them

LMAO at the uninformed crybabies in this thread with their shining morals and ethics as they all support factory farming and large scale agriculture, clowns.

This hunting trip did the following:

-Generated thousands upon thousands of dollars to protect, manage and conserve land/wildlife
-Feed hundreds of local people who live off $1 a day
-Contributed to the skilled employment of local guides/wildlife officers
-Supported a SUSTAINABLE industry
-Advertised for future income, job stability and conservation in the region
-Last but not least, he had an epic vacation/hunting trip
-Made ignorant low T pussies cry

What if they were where elk? What if it was a "family" of opossums?

Read up on this industry, it is interesting how we have set up the most successful form of conservation revolving around killing animals.

Mixed feelings on this, as a hunter. I wouldn't personally trophy hunt but can't condemn it either - these operations go a long way in stimulating the local economies of these countries and feeding the people, and wildlife is actually managed this way rather than indiscriminately killed.

In the US alone, in 2013 hunters contributed $1.65 BILLION to wildlife management efforts - this includes keeping populations at managed numbers, reducing the spread of disease like Chronic Wasting Disease, and ensuring that animals don't die from overpopulation. People don't understand that nature's way of managing the population involves slow painful death through disease, and being eaten alive by coyotes and other predators. Some deer that gets an arrow through its heart has it easy.

Of all the things you could potentially get rustled about, even within the domain of human-animal interactions, this should be at the bottom of the list for a thousand reasons. Get mad about the Chinese that skin animals alive or, like Mr Beer said, poach them just to make witchcraft penis powder and magic potions. Hell, get mad at the Africans that take hours to kill an elephant stabbing it to death with wooden spears.

This is more than just "Keeping the numbers in check", or whatever fkin excuse these hunters like to use to rationalise to themselves

The kunt obviously gets pleasure from this, and look at his fkin boot on the giraffes neck like that

As disgusting as this is, the guy literally is funding protection to these animals from poachers. Since the locas now have an insentive to keep poachers in check and let ppl like this guy blow his load of cash on the locals.

It’s an necessary evil but it works.

Sorry butt hurt *******s, the guy is protecting more than you will ever do to these animals with ‘anti hunting FB pages’

It's like a rich serial killer who provides everyone with nice houses, food, etc... and the net result is that the people he's supporting thrive and don't go hungry...

However, every once in a while, he will pick 1 person out, or a group of people... kill them, and take a pic with a ******* grin, with his fkin boot on their heads and post it out to let every see

But, he's providing nice houses, food, and the net result of his existence is one that allows the majority to flourish, therefore that justifies him being a sick man... and we shouldn't get angry that he's a sick bastard

Dogs are an overpopulated species in America, but I bet if someone posted a picture of them smiling while standing over dead puppies you would get mad.

Similarly, I think people are more bothered about the guy in the op, not because he hunts animals, but due to his sick sense of pleasure to feel the need to pose with a family of dead baboons/ dead giraffe afterwards.

Yeah, read the thread. And you're wrong, trophy hunting does just happen for fun and games. The Hunter enjoying that fun and games just provides benefits to the area like the fees and providing food for the locals by going on these hunts. Still all about the thrill of the hunt for the big game hunter.

Yes I’d be mad, we US citizens(and other people of some other countries)decided that puppies are meant to be a part of our families and friends to us. If that country decided the same thing about those animals and wanted to make it illegal to kill them then I’d be extremely upset about this guy killing them.

I think trophy hunting is whack, but people get so outraged over this. I would understand if they were vegans, but like a billion animals are factory farmed a year...

Many but not all of these hunts collect permit money it goes back into local economy/government/sanctuaries.

But it's not legal to farm and murder humans whereas it's legal to farm and kill animals. Killing animals and being a massive ******* about it afterwards just makes you a massive *******, not a serial killer.

Food for though...what is trophy hunting?

Hunting for a trophy? So a white tail deer head mount on a wall means you're a trophy hunter?
How about posing with that Marlin you vacationed to panama to catch....trophy hunter?

Most posters here are missing the point. It's not about controlled hunting and how much money it brings to the country to support good causes. It's about a neanderthal posting pictures of corpses of animals for the whole world to see while smiling regardless of his intentions.

"boohoo, there's worse things happening in the world" - Yes, sure, but killing helpless wildlife adored by kids and grown-ups alike with an assault rifle/bow and boasting about it doesn't help with sympathy.

In after pro trophy hunters that think that because hunting has some benefits for wildlife management it doesn’t make you a complete piece of chit for enjoying killing animals and posing for photos over their dead bodies with a big chit eating grin.

This so much. Its true that hunting does have some positive benefits, both in terms of conservation, and on a country's economy.

However, idiots such as the person in the op are hardly painting hunting in positive light, by posting goofy pictures next to dead animals.
