"Posture corrector" Anyone tried one before? 26k+

I'm talking about one of these:

I have a bit of a forward neck issue which always causes pain in the back of my neck. Chiropractors didn't do much for me for this specific issue unfortunately. I'm open to other ideas. My traps are pretty weak and I think it might make the problem worse. I'm gonna start hitting them a bit harder. I'm open to other solutions regarding neck pain.

Woman wear bras to keep the ta-ta's from sagging but the problem is the muscles that keep the ta-ta tight gets weak.

So by wearing this, you will probably do more damage than good.

Bent over rows and butterfly's brother. strengthen your back muscles to pull your shoulders back.

I didn't think of it like this. I do agree that I need stronger back and rear delt, but I don't really think that wearing something will make me weaker...

Wondering how this can actually help in the long run. Sure, it's providing support but it's not actively targeting the problem, right? I'm guessing you're better off simply working out to correct the problem. Aware me plz.

Well I'm assuming that if it can help get into the right position and posture, I can keep the habit when I'm not wearing it. I mean look at the thing, I don't plan on going in public too much with it lol

I get pains in my middle back and I'm 100% sure it's due to bad posture. If I get a pivot where I can bend backwards, the tension that's released is alot. Can this help for that or is it for shoulder pain?

Don't sleep on your stomach. Causes gravity to work towards putting your neck forward

For sure.

mouth breathing made my neck forward and gyno made me slouch until my late teens

I constantly check myself in the mirror for posture now. I still have pain in my low back from slouching so much all those years. Might try the correctors just to get the feel of a good posture

You missed out OP. One of the mods, Iceman maybe, posted a link that had Bowtie's on sale really cheap. I doubt it's still on, but you may do a search and see if you can find the thread.

Stand up straight, do exercises and stretches that fix your problem. Never understood the idea of posture correctors because as soon as you take it off you relax again and have chit posture.

What about physiotherapy instead of a chiropractic? A good one should help strength those muscles and fix your posture.
